Just called my local TRU with the item number for the 4" Multiverse figures. I was told that it's not an active item anymore and that none of the stores in my area have them.

Hoping this is wrong so I can grab Catwoman and Knightfall Batman for retail.

They are not. I agree it would look better without the front cannons and it comes with 2 bright green kryptonite missiles. I'm sure you could snap it off if you really want. I forgot to mention the gimmick is the hood pops off if you push the cannons back.

I'm still trying to figure out how to rig the amazon arkham batmobile to go into battle mode.

Psycho Pirate 01-03-2016 12:12 PM

The press pictures I've seen all have the guns showing. I'd love to replace those with a more compact set, though. Can anyone think of a good set of guns similar to that?

I was hoping that it would work with 3 3/4 inch figures. I'm guessing that it is only REALLY meant for the 6 inch figures, though?

Also, have you tried disassembling the gun mechanism via some screws or something? How is that assembled?

As for the Amazon Batmobile...Are you sure it has all of the nessesary parts?

Psycho Pirate 01-03-2016 01:32 PM

You could always get an older vehicle in poor shape and harvest a smaller seat and bigger control console and put in in there.

I'm convinced this means nothing. They told me the same thing when Masterpiece Starscream came out. I found one the next day.
None of the stores? I think you just got lied to to get you off the phone.

It is for 6" but its way undersized like Batmobiles of old, not even counting the one seater 6" Batman looks nearly twice as big in it as the movie shots.

Probably going to see how it works with my DC MU customs.

I gave up on calling TRUs. They either have no clue what I'm talking about or what they said they would hold disappears by the time I get there.

Exactly, it looks laughable like a go cart and my 6" dark knight rises movie masters figure can't fit in there due to his cape. I like it for 3.75" figures and there is plenty of room to customize the cock pit if you want. I think it would easily fit 3 figures in there. That being said, if you want to peg it as a 6" scale only car you can be the boss of you.

As for the Amazon batmobile, it looks like they just molded an extra dab of plastic on there and the swivel for tank mode still works minus the gun turret. I plan on taking a miter saw to it once my son loses interest in it.

My DC 3 3/4 inch collection. Small, but growing.

Orange Mr. Freeze...you're next on my list, Lol

snake5289 01-04-2016 02:08 PM

She's not absolutely godawful but I'm still not really a fan. I'll likely pass on this one. Love Knightfall Batman though. Wish that you could start using it from the beginning like in Arkham Knight.

Quick question though. If Detective Vision shows heat signatures why is Mr. Freeze glowing orange? He should be concealed like Dutch at the end of Predator.

Guys, am I the only one who sees a picture of those 6 inch figures, and thinks that they're 3 3/4 inch figures for a split second?

I saw the new Batman v. Superman stuff at TRU today. The figure shown is 6", but is not the Multiverse line. The low-art figures are $9.99 and are a shade shorter than ML figures. The Multiverse figures scale at around 7", but they only had Batman in armored and non armored forms.

The vehicle looks sweet, and I definitely want to pick it up for my 3.75" figures. They also have some smaller vehicles at roughly a 1/43 (1/24?) scale, but plastic, not die cast. They have the Batmobile and a Batplane at that scale.

Isn't the suit keeping him cold? That means it needs to shed heat, the same way your refrigerator is warm to the touch.

You know what I find most frustrating about this is that according to mattel it takes about 18 months to bring a design to shelf.
So if you do the math they released the figures first in January 2014. They announced the cancellation less than 18 months later.
That means they decided to cancel the line before the line hit shelves and certainly before they had any sales data.
