I Agree Fully and My LCS dose the same.

Just wanted to give you guys a head up in case any of you were curious about the new Black Widow figure. The new head sculpt does fit onto the older MCU figure's bodies, though it sits a little low on the neck, so you might need to place something inside the socket to allow it to sit a little higher like I did in these pics here.

As you can see in the photos as well, the new head sculpt is also perfect skin tone match on the Winter Soldier MCU Widow, so if you prefer that body or outfit more than the current one, it's an easy swap.

As for the older head sculpts on the newer body, they too also fit, although they sit a little high on the neck thanks to the vest (which can be removed.) The only issue is that they don't quite match up skin tone wise, unless you are using the head from the Amazon 4 pack Widow (not shown here.) That one actually is a closer match to the skin tone on the new figure than the heads on the original WS Widow.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the hair pieces can be as easily swapped as I would like, as the older heads are much larger than the newer one, and the new head sculpt has a seam across the brow where the hair piece sits. Attempting to swap will likely leave an ugly uneven line across her brow, unless you're willing to use some apoxie to cover it up.

Also, if anyone is curious, the head on the basic (i.e. kids line) Widow is indeed the same exact head sculpt as the new Legends one, only without the digital print and that awful, two tone paint job.

Wait, are you saying the 9.99 infinity stone app figures are head compatible with Marvel Legends?

I honestly cannot say if all of them are, but I know for a fact that the 9.99 (Infinity Stone App) Black Widow figure's head is compatible with Marvel Legends...

A lot of people were using the head from the basic Black Panther toys with a Legends Nakia body to custom make Shuri as well when the film was in theaters, so I'm guessing a lot of these are in fact interchangeable with Legends.

It's also the same exact head sculpt as the Cull wave Widow, just without the fancy paints and face printing. The baton weapons that come with that figure are different though, as they as thinner and shorter than the Legends version.

Same thing almost happened to me... found a Kitty Pryde and Jean Grey for 10 bucks each at a local store so I finally got that Onslaught Magneto head... now I am only missing the cape from Wolf Cap. And I also shelled out 20 bucks for Havok to finish my Juggernaut... that was painful.

IDK Funko Pops are appealing to me simply as desk decoration, plus they're everywhere and they probably have a figure for EVERY character you can think of.

They're not a line I see myself trying to get more than a couple with though. I prefer all my toys to have good articulation and not be in chibi form.

Appeal's the same for me. They cut a large swath of characters including some who are never given figures otherwise.

There I was, thinking I was content with the Black Widow I had, when these amazing pictures come along and convince me that I'm really not. I might try swapping the heads, but I kinda like the look without the vest. If the MCU is the thing that pushed the snowball down the hill, you fine fellows are the ones who strapped jet boosters to it.

While im still a fan of marvel and it's characters, i feel DC and their series have kind of been kickng marvel ass lately. Don't get me wrong i do quite a few marvel series, but i think the better talent is over at DC.

Anybody know where I can get or how I can make a decent 90s-style X-Men belt? I've been working on turning my Juggernaut wave Iceman into his 90s look, but I want him to have the proper belt. I'm looking for something like this:

This kind of belt is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, but that Cyclops isn't exactly easy to get a hold of and I definitely don't want to cannibalize the belt from the one I already own.

Likewise. Currently have a bunch of Overwatch characters thanks to Funko, when the only other options are Nendoroids (not my jam), Figma (much too pricey for me), or the Blizzard statues (even more expensive).

And that's not even going into the fact that, after twelve years, my wife was finally able to own some physical merchandise of Jinx from the Teen Titans animated series because of the Funko Pop. Hell, because of Funko, she now has, like, four or five different Jinx figurines/plushes of some sort.

On the topic of Legends, I was doing some work at the toy store yesterday, and finally got to see some of the Cull Obsidian wave in person. Like Triv, I am hella impressed with the Black Widow, to the point where I might be interested in picking her up if the price is right. But even moreso, the Evangeline Lilly Wasp figure is fantastic and is almost certainly going to be bought. Paul Rudd still looks like he's got the mumps, though.

And Cull Obsidian himself... I still haven't seen him completed, but damn, I love the sculpt work on the pieces I've seen. He's very nice and beastly.

I'll take some suggestions for sure, maybe via PM so we don't derail. The only one I'm reading is the main Justice League book (something I started doing with the New 52). I do have some of the bigger back event books (Darkest Night, Identity Crisis, and more further back, but I assume you mean current stuff.) You can skip anything Bendis though, had enough of him already. :p

He fragged up marvel now he’ll frag up dc worse than it already has been since flashpoint. After dc he will go to image and ruin them. ;)
