Yeah passed on him too several times when he was on the pegs (damn that was 4 yes ago?) but did picked him eventually since there was no new MU figs , Im glad I got him but I bet Hasbro's going to release him in a revision or done in a newer mold.

I really do hope we see some figures back in revision cases. Like Vision and Ms. Marvel. Cuz not only would that give us who missed out on them a good chance to get one, but it'd be a nice middle finger to scalpers.

LapuLapu 09-07-2012 03:56 AM

So lets say they release solid Vision in the JL Cyclops buck would everyone who got the old one replaced it with the new one as definitive Vision in their collection as what was happening to Punisher or Daredevil/Bullseye.
Just me but I still prefer my Target exclusive 2 pack Punisher over wave 19 Punisher.

Scythe 09-07-2012 04:13 AM

If I had a regular release solid Vision, hell yes. Ankle rockers are so not the bitties.

England and America. Two countries seperated by a common language.

Ooh, that's a nice Onslaught. I imagine he's from a ToyBiz line.

A whopping 5 (4) POA lol. Arms, legs and head (not sure)

I'll check once I get home.

@WoRkAh0LiC - I live at Paranaque bro, inside the biggest subdivision in asia lol

regarding your comment on lapulapu, yup, TRUs are abundant here. Actually, there are only 2 retail toy stores here, TRU and Toy Kingdom. you got V-mall correct. It's a toy collector's heaven and hell, mostly specialty stores. SM is a little different now though. SM is the basic mall where both TRU and TK is at most of the time.

Egads! I only did a cursory search, but it looks like that is going for more than the BAF! I was hoping to pick up both once I'm back in the black again.

Really? Got mine for $5 at a toy store but its loose and incomplete , I think its suppose to come with a piece that goes on top and gauntlets. I'll try to look for a online review.

i think is a nice pick up, i really wanted a magneto from that era and with no helmet, so it was worth it for me to pick up...

Well, I'm looking for the one with the helmet like yours, which appears to be a variant (or that one's the variant). Yeah the cheapest I found on eBay of that though (and like I said I just skimmed) was $45, and the BAF was like $30-40

So I was just at my local TRU...first one in the door for "new truck friday"...I immediately head to the MU section hoping to find a Scarlett Witch and Kang...to my surprise there is a w.19 Punisher on the pegs along with the ghost rider, and the few other repacks (that no one wants)...I am confused as to where the others are (namely Kang, Scarlett witch, 2x she hulks, punisher, and 2x spidey's)...so I ask an associate to scan them, and she says they have "24" in stock. thus missing the 7 I mentioned in parenthesis....as only 17 were on the pegs

She then goes on to tell me that there is an employee who sells on ebay as a second way to make income (then she tells me "I probably shouldnt be telling you this")...so then I ask her why I would ever come back here?

This may have been the straw to the perverbial camels back for me...as if competition wasnt enough, to have to get to a store the minute they put out new stock to get that new fig...and yet they are not even put out at the store, because an insider already cherry picks the new shit...

I mean she told me he sells them on ebay...I thought employees had to comply with the whole "not sell on secondary market" thing...even though we know this is never complied with...

I am just fed up with the whole scene...

plus they are just toys, and to me the squeeze is becoming worth less than the juice...

Sorry for the rant, but I thought this was bullshit enough to complain about...

evilanimation 09-07-2012 07:59 AM

Yep mine does the same thing, you are not alone, not only that but the employees tells people to go to the local scalp shop when they can not find stuff.

WalkingDeadpool 09-07-2012 08:01 AM
