Fair point but I don't remember if it was in Arkham City or the Origins DLC (maybe both) there's a point during the Mr. Freeze boss fight were he makes himself invisible to Detective Mode because he's getting wise to your tricks.

Also I'm glad to see that they're finally putting Lex's mechsuit in the movies but a) I wish I hadn't seen it yet (Thanks for the spoiler Mattel!) and b) it looks kinda lame. Though that could just be because it's the kid-friendly figure.

You opened your SDCC JLA Starro set? I'm a die hard opener and even I couldn't despoil that awesome display case!

Target is putting them on clearance. Except my Target just dumped them in the clearance aisle without marking them down.
I only found Black Mask & a Joker. I know they have more so I'm not sure where they hid them.
Plus they found a Young Justice Superboy in the back stock room!

How can these cost $9.99 & 3.75 inch be $13.79??? It makes no sense whatsoever!
Did you also notice how on all the price placards it reads "Batman"? I saw none with Superman on it.

Well you can open it & put it back afterwards. It is re-closeable.

Man...I'm thinking positive! If the Cat and Knightfall made it, the Orange should too.

I could live without Catwoman, but that Knightfall Batman is a must have. And what's the deal with that Orange Freeze?

I'm hoping more for Arkham unmasked Batman and Arkham Penguin.

It's supposed to be Mr. Freeze as viewed with Detective Mode. There's a AK Batman and an Origins Bane that's been released already and there was a Red Hood shown but I don't know if it has been or will be released.

If they don't release that Penguin as promised I'm gonna be extremely pissed. I may even start burning BvS toys in a parking lot as a protest. Don't try me Mattel.

Speaking of stuff that was shown off whatever happened to the Date Night 4-pack?

Those would all be re-packs right? I mean, I'd still want it...

Burn it in the shape of a bat, and hire a helicopter to take photos of it from above. Use the symbolism to show that you aren't messing around. Batman stands up for the little guys.

Whats the purpose of having 2 lines almost in the same scale? Really don't understand these toy makers decisions. Either make a 4'' line or stick with the 6'' one. Like this is just plain stupidity.

That idea...LOVE IT!

The BvS Lex Luthor Mech or Aromor or whatever looks like it would work ok with 3.75 as some sort of well mech or large armor.

This I have said before, 4" scale is the only economically feasible scale for vehicles and playsets. Six inch and up are more detailed sculpts specifically for collectors and not really intended to be "played" with. Personally I don't have the money or space for anything that big, and like others here, I like having or creating environments to photograph my figures in, so I stick with 4" scale.

To bring up an example from my childhood, my family loves Rescue Heroes. Any kid we've given them to loves them. Anyway, these figures are about 5 inchs, so obviously the playsets have to be big, which is a MAJOR space problem, so my Rescue Heroes playsets didn't have to wait long to be put into the attic, and by the time we could get them out, I was too old to play with Rescue Heroes(I keep a few around, but still). The larger the figures, the more likely that the playsets will be wasted.

LordMudd 01-05-2016 02:31 PM

My favorite example is the USS Flagg. Anyone care to speculate what you would pay for 1 at 6" scale?

CCC.

Current cost for an aircraft carrier is $10.44 billion. At 1/12 scale, that should run about $877 million.

Needless to say, I'm pretty bad at speculation.

LordMudd 01-05-2016 02:54 PM

Toy Hunter sold one for about a grand on his show.

Is it me, or has Catwoman preserved her upper arm swivel? Nice of Matty to include that articulation on their figures now that they've cancelled the line.

I'm a sucker and may have to buy this just for Luthor.

I keep hoping that Mattel will put out a cheap line of small figures for this movie with no publicity, as more of an afterthought for the likes of Big Lots and Marcs, being real it won't happen and if it did it would probably be repaints of the figures from the previous movie lines.

LordMudd 01-05-2016 07:39 PM

I would start looking for 5 poa figures in places like Family Dollar after the movie is out. Last 5 poa figures popped up there with no announcement.
