Unrelated, FINALLY saw Infinity War last night. Had to wait so long because of reasons. Great movie, makes me want all the Children of Thanos even more now. There were people who were boohooing at the end because I guess they don't know the comic story and how it will in general be adapted. I have suspicions but could be wrong. Also good to see that even though she lost out they showed that Wanda truly is a power house so long as it's not hand to hand combat. Which is how it should be.

Oh i think she’d be good at “hand to hand”. Maybe if we get wonderman introduced ( kellan lutz would make a good simon ) we’ll see. ;)

One small dissapointment....no IW Legends in store. Out of hype I probably would have bought Thor and Widow.

Worst to First: Marvel Legends X-Men Apocalypse Build-A-Figure Wave Part Two « Preternia

Goddammit Hasbro please release Apocalypse as an individual figure or even part of a two pack. Just repaint him into his cartoon colors or the Messiah War grey and blue scheme and I'd buy two. This looks to be another BAF that I really want in a wave that I only want one figure from.

Also, somewhat relieved that I overcame my thirst and didn't press myself to get the recent Thanos BAF, because the three pack Thanos has what looks to be substantially better sculpted expressions.

I squirt my agreement all over this quote, with gusto. Doesn't make someone less of a fan for being okay with creative liberties, I don't think? Been working my way through my Cable and Deadpool trade paperbacks again, where I always thought she was well-represented in the few appearances she had. It's a great series that starts very strong, the art tanks a bit as you go further in, though.
I actually thought Zazie did a great job with the role. I was never crazy about whole Domino's "bipedal dalmatian puppy" look on the pages, until I googled Domino cosplay and that miraculously turned my opinion around fast. Either way. It's not something I can summon up any anger about.
And it's not her fault that stuntwoman died, they didn't let her wear a helmet.

The X-wave looks really nice. Shame Apocalypse looks a little short. The old version was too tall, this is too short....maybe Marvel Select will do it right eventually.

That looks accurate to me. Apocalypse only stands about 7 feet normally.

Anyway, the wave looks amazing. Even though I don't care for that Magneto costume, the figure itself looks badass and will be a nice place holder until they give us a proper classic costume toy. Good riddance to my Toy Biz one!

While I hope they don't take too long to give us a first appearance Storm, that figure is also pretty awesome looking.

In fact, the only figure in the wave I could do without would be Multiple Man. Never liked him.

Apocalypse is a 7 footer in the comics, figs just about right being 8' tall. He can also alter his height at will. Geez, the MCU movies really jack some of you up. Not everyone is MCU Hulk sized FYI. Even Hulk in the comics was originally just 7ft tall till the creative artists took over. Thanos was originally just 6'7 but massive in the comics until again, the creative artists jacked him up in hgt and the MCU followed suit.

I just want Wolvy/Sabretooth from this line so hopefully will get them loose from either Ebay or Dorkside.

I held off on most of those figures because I had a suspicion they were gonna try to release an upgraded Iron Man or Iron Spider down the line. It's quickly becoming one of Hasbro's biggest problems, IMO.

I'm sure people will want his coat though for customs. The rest of the wave looks like a win. Probably have to preorder the entire wave because this looks like a scalpers wet dream.

Ideally you want your baddies..especially the big baddies to be taller than the goodies. Hence in different panels, he is drawn various sizes.

A BAF should be just that....it feels a bit small for a BAF. He is probably an inch shorter than he should be in figure form.

That unmasked Magneto kinda reminds me of Ric Flair a little bit... WOOOOOO! And Psylocke reminds me that girl that used to be on Hawaii 5-0. And normally I prefer 90's Jim Lee X-men outfits, but I also have a soft spot for all punk looks of every character.. so probably gonna need that Storm too even if I won't have any team to display her with on my shelf.

So I have Banshee being worked on. I Have Danielle Moonstar being worked on and an Xmen of Havock. Polaris is next in her Xmen outfit. Have X23 Wolverine and X23 Xforce being made. I think thats it for now. Not sure who else is needed.

Remember the only character with a helmet is magneto. The rest of them should not be holding a head next to their hip like a severed head or bike helmet🤗
