Also did you guys see the 6” retro legends sentinel? I’ll definitely pick up a few just wish it was a little more articulated. Funny my zurg just arrived so I guess he will be my articulated sentinel. I get a marvel vs capcom vibe from zurg |

Ok here’s what the neck looks like with the head popped off on the smaller one
https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...4&d=1653017093 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...3&d=1653017093 If anything I’ll cut the ball part off and stick the head on the neck joint... unless one of you fantastic customizers have a better suggestion (looking at you creator, mordiganne, abaddon etc) |
Do you know the size of the hole on the head you plan on using? Generally I cut the entire piece off the neck and replace it with something that fits the head better.
Hope that makes sense. It's weird how hard it is to explain things only through text. At least for me anyway. |

My preferred method if I can swing it, is to use a drill bit slightly smaller than the neck ball and drill a cavity slightly shallower than the estimated depth needed to fit (if the head does not already have a hole for the neck joint). If there is already a hole and it's smaller than needed, then I use a drill bit of appropriate size to widen the hole. If the plastic has enough give/soft enough to work it down onto the ball joint, then I do so to get an idea of whether I've dug down enough. If it's too shallow, then drill out a little more at a time and refit as you go. You can always cut away more but once you go too much, then the pooch is screwed. Once you feel you have enough depth, then you work outward. I use one of the dremel cutting bits with a round head for this part. You'll need to take care to keep the bit down far enough that you're cutting out where the ball will fit into once the head is on and that you don't cut so shallow that you widen the main hole at the base of the head. This will also take some care so that you don't cut out too far, making the recess larger than the neck ball. You're working depth and width here so it's more tedious than just drilling the main part. If the plastic is soft enough and neck is sturdy enough, sometimes I just skip the second part entirely, just fit on the head and call it a day. If you don't have a dremel/rotary tool, another option is a had drill. It works fine for drilling the initial hole but not so much for the cutting tool outward. If you really want to go crazy with it, you could take a legends neck and fit it that way so it could look up to simulate flying. I'm sure there are a lot of methods people use. Different folks for different strokes. I'm always down for simpler ways of doing things if anyone has pointers. |

I got a coupon for Boss Fight, so I picked up one green and one yellow female blank body and put them together for an easy Marrina from Alpha Flight. Not totally thrilled with the head. It's got the hair right, but the eyes are small and the lips are too big, but it'll do until I find one more appropriate.

My newest customs. Spider-Man was just filling in the web lines, I’d been putting it off for a while for fear of ruining the figure, but I like how it turned out. Shang Chi is my second attempt, the first was movie based but it didn’t feel like a Kung fu master. Lastly I’ve been wanting to do a Doc Ock for a while, but I just finished the ps4 Spider-Man game and felt inspired

It seems that Marvelicious Toys Podcast is going to interveiw Hasbro team during SDCC and are interested in questions we would like them to ask. Let's show them that we are interested in the return of 3.75 line. There are already several proposed questions about 3.75 so let's support those or ask your own.
