Wait, what? This whole time, I thought it was Nick Fury from the Ultimate (1610) universe taking over after Secret Wars? I thought that the 1610 universe was dust, then Reed Richards fixed everything and rendered the event totally pointless? Except the art, that was nice.
So they brought these leftover characters from the 1610 Bendis universe into the one we know, but they didn't revive/inherit its Nick Fury. What was the point, then? Making Nick Fury an illegitimate son whose name isn't actually Nick Fury seems kinda ludicrous when you have an actual Fury on standby.
That's deeply uninspired and pointlessly convoluted. And so many of my favorite writers are off doing other things now, it's bizarre stuff like this that is shrinking my weekly pull list. It bums me out.

I don’t know the full extent, but the ultimate universe is still around. They showed this in the Spider-Men 2 book (I think). If I recall ultimate Peter Parker is now leading the ultimate avengers or something

But it gives you more money for toys. :)

You know, it's June 1st. Where the heck is the SDCC exclusive reveal? Am I wrong to worry that Hasbro will only do exclusives at their HasCon thing?

It does seem like it's late and we've usually had more information (or any really) by this point, but remember two years ago we didn't get any information until late June or early July, can't remember which.

I do wish they'd go ahead and reveal. I NEED to know if it's the black order, either MCU or comic is fine, so I can either buy the Cull Obsidian wave or not.

BBTS or Dorkside, who's going to put the wave up first?

There were comments made over on Fwoosh by Dorkside that, while not confirming or outright saying that would be the case, did kind of indicate that. Though that could be people misreading into it. I don't want to say they DID say such a thing in case they don't go up, but it did kind of sound like they were saying it without saying it. I could be wrong though.

Now it just makes him look even more dirty and homeless.

Pick up a paintbrush, and darken it yourself. Trust me, it will come out looking a lot better.

Picked up the Wal-Mart Thanos on a whim a few minutes ago. Never been much of a cosmic Marvel guy (I know some stuff about Thanos and Nova/Richard Rider but that's about it) but I've been having fun with him in MvC:I and it's just a pretty damn awesome looking figure.

Oh, okay.

I'm wondering if we're gonna get a third Avengers wave this year or if they just plan to hold off until Avengers 4 next year.

Guessing I'll be posting in here for a while... Finally got the Legends bug. Waiting for Cable arriving in the mail and pre-ordered Wolverine. Ahh well, guess I'll be skint for a while keeping up with the releases, lol.

I'm going to guess just two this year as we've hear nothing at all of any kind of 3rd wave for 2018.

What I"m hoping for is at least two maybe three waves next year. My thoughts on some things include:

MCU Corvus Glaive and Ebon Maw. I think these two are givens why would they give us just two of the four CoT?
I think it's also a safe bet we WILl see a single MCU Vision. Because repack. Because Hasbro. And likely that Scarlet Witch too.
One comic villain per wave, you know I'm hoping for Nefaria or Graviton, but who really knows.
One non Avenger comic hero per wave: Mach II/IV/LLCIV/LLLLLLLL anyone? And Citizen V becuase polls.
One comic Avenger per wave: Quasar? Moondragon? Tigra? They are likely.
I could see them stuffing an Inhuman per wave in there. I'd say Crystal, also an Avenger, would be a given if they do. Maximus or Karnak would be the other I'd think, becuase no one really wants Triton or Gorgon do they?
And that's a good 12 of the 14 figures (or of 21 if they have three waves). The other of which would be taken up by your standards in MCU. Iron Man, Spider Man and the like.

BAF Lockjaw and that is all that matters.

Looking back I realize that's very comic heavy. I can see them going that route for a total of 8 figures and maybe one extra for three waves. If they only have two waves I can see them taking it down to 6 comic figures total, removing either the Inhumans or the Non Avengers hero. But still Lockjaw because Lockjaw.
