Thank goodness someone showed me what the heck the "black and gold" that someone mentioned a few pages back meant. I thought maybe there was an awesome color schemed iron man I didn't know about. lol

So I assume you grabbed them then for someone on the forum? That's awfully cool of you to do that. If you don't have anyone for SW yet, I'd be more than happy to take her off your hands. Maybe some greenbacks will make you un-sad LOL.

All this variant talk getting to me, can someone correct me if I am wrong.
Ok this is figure is the Human Torch Series 1 Wave 1 Figure #07 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...9_orig.jpg?172 Here is Human Torch Series 1 Wave 1 Figure #11 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...0_orig.jpg?160 And this is Human Torch Series 1 Wave 1 Figure #11 the running change http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...5_orig.jpg?165 Here is Ms. Marvel Series 1 Wave 3 Figure #22 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...2_orig.jpg?152 and this is the variant Ms Marvel from Series 1 Wave 3 Figure #22 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...3_orig.jpg?153 this is Ms Marvel from Series 1 Wave 3 Figure #23 technically a variation but not a "variant" as it is a different number. http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...1_orig.jpg?154 What I consider to be "true" variants are figures who share numbers ie. Series 2 Wave 3 (Wave 8) Archangel #15 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...jpg?1299574706 Series 2 Wave 3 (Wave 8) Archangel #15 Variant http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...2_orig.jpg?164 Series 3 Wave 3 (Wave 14) Dr Strange #12 http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...9_orig.jpg?159 And Series 3 Wave 3 (Wave 14) Dr Strange #12 Variant http://marveluniverse375.weebly.com/...3_orig.jpg?161 and so on and so forth. Is this not correct? |
pretty much. If it has its own number it is not a variant.
yes you are correct
i agree, same mold different number (human torch) would not be a variant, but at the same time its the same mold and same character so it counts as a variant in a way. i could be wrong tho lol
Tons of figures have the same mold. If hawkeye and taskmaster had the same mold you wouldn't consider them variants of each other would you? I don't know figure molds off hand so i'm just giving an example.
i didnt make any sense in that last post lol disregard that hahaha.
molds do not matter. If it has a different number or is a different figure than what's on the back of the card it's a variant (or in some cases running changes)
