I have a stash (some might say hoard) of unopened figures which I planned to use for customs, one of which was the Thor comic set. My collecting rule is if I’ve seen or read the character in anything then they’re fair game. Since Love and Thunder Jane Foster Thor is now fair game so actually opened a new figure.

You’re spot on! It’s a WWII Bucky, I might go back and shave a bit of plastic off the gloves as they are quite large. It’s actually a Black Cat head, I did think about using a Gamora head but figured painting around the eyes wasn’t any easier than painting around the mask.

I have a Black Widow head set aside (the very first Marvel Universe version) and some Harry Potter Asian girl head that might work (Mantis is Vietnamese).
Mostly, I'm using Brad Walker's art as reference. I had Brad draw the entire team for my art collection and I look at the framed team every day on my wall...

It’s really hard making customs of characters of Asian origin because there are so few headsculpts to use, it’s maybe a little better now but there was a time when GI Joe ROC Storm Shadow was pretty much the only option for male characters.

I've noticed something odd that the 2 closest Target stores by me say they are not carrying the exclusive X-Men pack

The head I'm going with on Mantis is from Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix 3.75" line- which has crap articulation but very nice head sculpts and are dire cheap loose-
Search "Harry Potter CHO CHANG action figure 4" and you'll find it for about six bucks!
Can't beat that. If worse comes to worst, the hair is a separate piece- you could always hair swap her Asian straight hair onto an MTF female head or something.

CREATOR! Your Annihilators team looks great but you're missing Ikon! I saw someone make her in 6" for sale on Etsy. The body wasn't perfect but the head looked really good.
