I want that blue pants Dr. Strange for my Defenders. Black pants will go towards the Illuminati.

Speaking of which, anyone else gonna use Black Bolt for the Illuminati? I'm gonna get the set but there's no way Hasbro will ever finish the Inhumans.

Tiberius 09-10-2012 02:15 PM

Only reason I am getting the set. If I can just get him, I will.

For anyone interested, TRU.com now has the Spidey/Doom 2 pack available. Looks like they have 90 in stock.

I'm planning to do that too and maybe swap heads so that each is a transition fade as opposed to the unpowered and powered figures. However despite my great desire to complete my negative zone Fan 4 I can't justify $17 for one figure so I'll wait and try to snag the 3 pack

Tiberius 09-10-2012 02:17 PM

I'll wait or find a cheap one of any kind and just paint it up.

I don't know I think a 2 pack with Gorgon & Triton or a 3 pack with them & Crystal would just about do it or it would for me as those are the ones I'm most familiar with. I know there was a rumor of a movie but until that comes out there is no reason for a Maximus figure

It's like GotG, no way that team from the 3-pack is ever completed.

If they do a movie line it'll probably be the newer costumes.

it's on my list but not really "looking" per se since I think it's just a paint error. Why, do you have one?

It was Kang, but it was also back in the 60's.

"Nathaniel Richards was a scholar born in the 30th century of an alternate, more advanced timeline of Earth-616. He claims that the timeline was so advanced they created Lunar colonies while Earth-616 was in its Dark Ages. Richards became fascinated with history and discovered the time travel technology created by one of his ancestors, Victor Von Doom. Richards then traveled back in time to ancient Egypt c. 2950 B.C., in a Sphinx-shaped timeship, and became the Pharaoh Rama-Tut, with intentions of claiming En Sabah Nur—the mutant destined to become Apocalypse—as his heir"

The Apocalypse part was added in the 90's.

mikefavata 09-10-2012 03:36 PM

He's also Iron Lad and Immortus lol.

Just testing out a new black background, with two of my favorites

A not-Kang 616 Nathaniel Richards would be an awesome figure and another member for the Future Foundation.

Has anyone done a custom Nathaniel yet?

WoRkAh0LiC 09-10-2012 03:38 PM

Came across 2 Nick Fury figs from the Avengers line today at K-Mart. Cost me $10 each plus tax, so roughly about $11. I'm happy to have FINALLY found one. I think I'm better off not hunting and just checking stores randomly if I go there for something else. I went to look for fans and I find a fig. It's been far too long since I've found something when actually hunting/store-hopping specifically for toys. Anyways, I bought the other as well if anyone needs him.

@Recycled Parts - thanks for posting that info for everyone. I'm sure there are some people out there that need that one. Eventually, the stores will be flooded with them and they'll peg warm. As of right now, however, they're like a needle in a haystack.

Thank Wikipedia. He's one of those character's where the background is kind of ridiculous. He's awesome though.

Feedback left by the way.

Awesome but no.

The Nathaniel Richards who IS Kang is from an alternate universe but in the 616 (regular) universe. Nathaniel in the regular Universe, is the regular Nathaniel.

Oh Marvel, you so crazy.

One of the cool things is that they have yet to flesh out the name and possible connections, so there is a little mystery there. of course that could be because I'm the only interested in the connections ;)
