I don't think he'll be a lock-box hero. He's not really "villain-y" enough. Unless they're changing the whole Lock-Box motif.

Probably going to be a "Covert Ops" hero...do 10-15 tasks and then you can spend points to unlock him.

Good point, totally forgot that they were converted villains although Omega Sentinel wasn't a true villain in the comics? We'll see though.

She was one of the Marauders during the Messiah Complex storyline along with Gambit and Sunfire.

With those three and Sabretooth, I wonder if we'll get a Marauders team bonus now.

Ah ok, couldn't remember...most likely I would imagine, actually they would have it now if anything right? Since both OS and Sabes is out.

Probably not since it is meant to emphasize being a hero. Something like that would fall under the "red in the ledger" team bonus.

I think Sunfire means chapter 4 will drop soon and I cannot wait as Ms. Marvel is one of my absolute favorite superheroes I am very excited to see her new alt and passives!

The slow grind and farming is starting to get a tad boring as Im just saving up CP for SpecOps 16 and those assuredly 8 new alts -_-; oooh well at least I am getting a lot of E-isos 3 more for chapter 2 then to chapter 3 to work!

So are the Doom daily lockbox quests over? I missed only a couple days but I still don't have him.. so only way now is to spend gold?

I didn't get a task this morning, but I saw the boxes on the daily roulette. I just spent the two gold to get him.

^^ You should be able to at least get the boxes during the daily spin though, I've been getting boxes that way, although I do have him already. Until they stop offering then that's when you should drop the gold if necessary.

He sucks to be honest, I have no problem killing him, especially when I hit him with the Mystic, although his last power is set is interesting, but you have to wait till 9 turns? I don't even know if that's possible.

Mystic pretty much wrecks Doom in PvP. I suspect without it he might be painful, though.

Not sure, I'm leveling up my Doom as we speak, so I'll know after tomorrow night but even still 9 turns seems so long, it's almost as if you wouldn't want to attack or kill the PVE so fast just to see how it looks.

He was kinda broken before his non-debuff bug was fixed (I think it was fixed after the Doom minimissions ended). He's still serviceable on Defense but your agent may be better off being a tank/support piece. I used him on defense up until he was fixed and I held up pretty well.

Yeah it does, but if the enemy agent has the cube and mystic equipped, he can get annoying in that first round unless you have a Scroll and are lucky enough to go before Doom or if you're Mystic Shroud effect isn't scrolled by the enemy agent (wow that sounds sort of confusing doesn't it).

Haha yeah that's what I equip both on offense and defense. Does anyone know what weapon it is that gives like 2 rounds of non applying buffs? I know the Mystic is sort of like that, but it can removed by the scroll, this one can not, at first I thought it was the cube, unless it's the first cube that does that?

Yeah, using a tech ability reduces the cooldown by one round. So you're looking at a maximum of 5 rounds if you use two tech attacks each round before firing on the 6th.

I got to use it once in 5 turns, the enemy Agent was a Blaster with Protect (Hoarfrost Mace, I think) so I got three attacks on him. The damage is nice, but not worth the wait. It also didn't help that I forgot the Agent popped Light Fantastic right before so I healed the entire team. Strangely enough, I still won.

Are you talking about the Buff Blocker debuff? I think Brute has that.

For 2 rounds, ok cool. Also the daily spin is rigged, I keep getting 2 Doom boxes...
