Hey, is anyone from our little network going to SDCC this year? I just read about all the retro Alien stuff they're going to have available at SDCC (some of which is free apparently but available in limited quantities) and wanted to see if someone could snag some stuff for me. Even the whole Early Bird Package they're doing is only $100. I was planning on pre-ordering the stuff anyway but it looks like you can get a lot more if you pre-order at the conference and go by their booth.

Stopped by TRU in Cary at Lunch and picked up the new NECA Pacific Rim Figures. There are two 'bots and one pretty good sized monster. Also spotted the new Lone Ranger Figs, but all they had left were 4 Tontos. The lady at the checkout said that the Pacific Rim figs were pretty hot, there were people waiting when they opened.

I Had to pick up a preordered Marvel Select Iron Man Mark 42 from Atomic Empire (Scifi Genre) so stopped by the TRU and Target in Durham. OMG what a haul. I picked up the Lone Ranger, the new NECA Aliens figures were out with Hicks, Hudson and a Xenomorph Warrior Alien. Also found the Movie Masters Armored General Zod at the Target, there were two actually, only got the one. Quite the toy day.

Would anyone in the N.Raleigh area be interested in a BUNCH of old Toy Magazines? I don't want to give them to Goodwill out of fear they will just throw them in the dumpster, but rather to someone who would value them. I have WAY more than what's in the picture, I just found these, and said "WHY am I holding on to these??" I keep trying to kill the clutter in my house, and I just keep moving it around, not really getting rid of it. Also, I have a bunch of comic books to be rid of. LMK soon, I'm making piles and piles around here of stuff I'd like to get rid of. I'll probably go thru these tonight and if I see any gorgeous pictures I can't live without...I'll scan them. I'm trying to go paperless, but have you ever Filleted a magazine to run thru a scanner (we have a really good one that takes about 200 pages at a time, and shoots them thru pretty quick, converting them to PDF or JPG or whatever else I never pick)...it's not easy...I've done it a few times, and it can be tiresome cutting pages out 3-4 at a time...and then RIPPP, goes the edge where the blade was not sharp enough.

Went by TRU Cary at Lunch (as usual, but changed to Wednesdays now) and found the series 2 Predator Figures, Water emergence Predator, Shirtless Dutch with vest and Mud covered Dutch.

No Alien figures? That's what I am hoping to find!

They did have those! Hicks and Hudson.

I haven't been here in a long time but I have a few sightings.
TRU Triangle Town had at least 2 GI Joe Eaglehawk on Wednesday afternoon, the large 5 POA Joes, and Max Steel toys. I was excited about the Max Steel until I bought one. I'm returning it today. The figure pretty much a statue, the legs are preposed and the blaster is not removable. Technically 3 POA (head and shoulders). I may pick up another at a later date for a custom but not today.
Family Dollar on Rock Quarry RD have the Man of Steel variants and 3.75 Power Attack Batman. They are on sell until Sunday for $2.50 each.

I also picked up a MM Armored Zod and I'm not impressed, esp after I bought the Arkham City Series 4 Batman. They just don't compare.

Has anyone been to the Greensboro Toy Show? On the Inside Pitch Promotions site it shows the Raleigh Toy Show show as having 180+ tables, whereas the Greensboro show has 375! Looks like the next Greensboro show is in November, it's only about an hour away.

yes, absolutely. The GSO show is twice a year, and I go. in the fall, be prepared to pay for parking. I think it's $5. It's twice as large, and sometimes there's an indoor flea market outside too.

Hey everyone. Im looking for the new TMNT toys....the Rat King and Cockroach Terminator. I don't know if they are out yet but I saw the Stealth Tech toys are coming out. Im also looking for a Marvel Legends Archangel. I got lucky at my local Walmart once but I need another one so I can open one. Thanks guys.

Spotted the new 6" World War Z Figures at TRU Cary at lunch.

Saw the new Star Wars Mission Series two-packs at the TRU at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh tonight. They also had the World War Z figures.

I saw a GI Joe Eaglehawk at the TRU in Cary today at lunch. The box was a little crushed though so some people may be passing it up for fear of broken pieces. The price on the shelf was $42.99. They also had the Star Wars Mission Series 2-packs and maybe a few other new items, but not much else to report on that caught my eye.

Completed? I can tell my WF is about to do one, they have superclearanced all the junk, and now it's in total disarray.
