Sorry if I brought anything. I like change, I like a lot of new characters. I just specifically don't like Gwenpool and didn't see the logic in her being the double packed, but that was my bias towards the character. Maybe the comments weren't directed at me. I try to be peaceful..and not stir stuff up. I'm sorry if I did.

I guess I'm the only person here excited about the Netflix Defenders exclusive. While I don't really know what I'll do with the extra DD, I'm pleased to be getting the Charlie Cox mugshot, the red shirted Luke Cage (I really didn't want Claire, so this works perfectly for me,) and better yet, Danny (who completes the team) and Colleen (who is a simple head swap away from being a comic based figure.)

The only bummer is the barely changed Jessica, and that's not really all that bad because it's another female body in civilian mode, perfect for customs.

Hopefully with all the hate spewing for these, this will be an easy set to nab because I'm all over it.

It’s an ok set... the DD maskless head should have been packed with the single carded figure, and for this set I’d have preferred a Matt murdoc or season 1 DD just to change it up a bit. Ya know Danny and Colleen will get another release, if they don’t some people will blow a gasket.... Jessica is... underwelming, but there isn’t really a hell of a lot you can do with her they didn’t do in the single release, maybe a six pack of tall boys accessory?, where they really missed the opportunity to hit it out of the pack is Luke. If they went with sleeveless hoodie t would up my want for this set 85%. Or at least put some bulletproof holes in the shirt. But with the red shirt you might be able to pop the hoodie off homecomeing Spidey and make it work.

I'm kinda glad the SDCC set this year isn't a must-have for most people, not only on behalf of others because it's really annoying when Hasbro sticks important characters in an SDCC set and not release another version later on, but also because that means it'll probably be easier for me to get, as I am actually interested in this set (if only to get Colleen Wing and the unmasked head for Daredevil, as I have a bad feeling the former won't be released outside this set).

Oh I am, it's just another instance of me being slightly wary because I'm mixed about shelling out for the exclusive when we may see them released to retail relatively soon.

Aye I thought I was alone too I am actually extremely excited about the Netflix set! And I never thought of Jessica that way that’s smart. Makes the set even better because I can just do a head swap to make a easy custom.

I'd love to have the set, but I just don't have the money to throw around for it. XD

The only thing that worries me about the "new" Jessica is that judging from that horrible picture, it looks as if she has the same Popeye forearms that the MCU Elektra figure had. Otherwise, I have no issue with this set. It takes care of a bunch of needs (Luke/Colleen/Danny) while giving us a couple of things that I can work around.

Plus,as Nitelife said, what's nice about it is that there is nothing that is a glaring MUST have. The buzz on this online had been pretty split and devise down the middle. Had this been some kind of 90's X-Men cartoon box set or something super highly desired along those lines, with a super limited quantity, you would see some really butt hurt collectors out there like there was with Neca's 90s movie TMNT figures (which I was lucky enough to score...)

Pictures are turning up online of the Cap/Crossbones, Ant Man/Yellowjacket, and the rest of the 10th anniversary collection figures (Ronin/Skull) turning up in Mexico. Those might be just around the corner now as well.

Awesome thanks for the heads up on the 10th anniversary wave definitely can’t wait for that. But you’re 100% right if this was a X-men set or a new warriors set with banshee or Squirrel girl people would be undeniably pissed. I also think you might be right about Jessica Judging by the pic she’s got those Popeye lookin arms.

If this sleeveless Jessica has the same Popeye arms as Elektra, than she probably has the same solution as well: steal the double-jointed arms from the Black Series Farmboy Luke and slap 'em on. For some reason, the into-the-torso peg on both are pretty much the same size, and both can be removed by heating. As well, the wrist peghole for the hands are the same width and depth, and the arms are the same length. For Elektra there was a slight difference in skintone between her face and the Luke arms that you either had to fix or ignore, but that should be somewhat less of an issue with Jessica.

No problem, man. I wish I knew who came up with it. I just know I got it from Robo from the Fwoosh, who got it from a user on the Fwoosh forums. Whoever came up with it, it takes the figure from "ok" to "damn great".

If I remember correctly, Surfer should be releasing relatively soon, while Thing isn't supposed to be coming out 'til roughly Fall.

Robotkingdom has them both in stock right now. If they aren’t released together, then I would imagine that there won’t be very much time in between releases.

Ben looks much better than it did in promotionals. The Hulk looks positively anemic. Hopefully the new Hulk will get part reuse from monsterous Venom, or simply be a new beefier mold.

I am right there with you. For me, this set is a must have.

So I got an email from AMazon that my order for Black Widow and Thor shipped, at the $19.99 price. I guess I'm good to go but it's odd because they weren't supposed to be in stock until later in the week. I'm not complaining, it's a pleasant surprise, but I'm still holding off to get the other three figures from the wave until I have two those in hand.
