A little disappointing seeing the thing is as tall as the BAF Venom. Maybe Hasbro will repurpose the BAF Venom as the Super Skrull or a variation of it....who knows.

BAF's should be something big and draws attention. Oh well....I do think the THing looks pretty good.

So I'm thinking about pre ordering a whole wave for the 1st time, BBTS or Dorkside? The price is the same but it seems like Dorkside may have them sooner and shipping is free vs a few bucks with BBTS. Just want whoever is the most reliable really.

Nothing against BBTS but I've always had a good experience with Dorkside.

They're both good but what gets me to order from dorkside for waves compared to BBTS is dorkside includes no tax and free shipping.

What! Really?!

Tarooster 06-20-2018 09:55 AM

Do they charge at the time of pre order or when the items ship?

They charge at the time of order. BBTS charges at the time it ships. BBTS is also easier to cancel a pre-order than Dorkside, and you can stagger purchases over a period and have them all shipped at one time. Dorkside does not offer this option and will usually just ship when an item arrives.

I have used both over the years, and they both have been very good. It comes down to personal preference, and who gets an item first usually.

I've had similar good experiences on eBay as well with new waves, though most people think not to use it because they are convinced that only scalpers hawk waves there. I've landed several waves in the past for less than what the e-tailers charge, often with free shipping. Ypu just have to be willing to dig.

Dorkside charges at the time of preorder unless you use PayPal.

Almost every time I back-order a figure through Amazon they say it won't be in until like a week later or something and then it winds up shipping within a couple of days. When I ordered Ant-Man and Wasp last week I was told they wouldn't have them to me until today but I got them on Saturday. I think they deliberately overestimate the dates that way they can excuse any delays as being within expectations.

That makes sense. plus they could always get figures in sooner than they think or people cancelling orders may bump me up the line. Or something. Anyways I'm glad they're coming to me. I have the three figures from the Sp/DR shipped from Dorkside and out for delivery today, and tomorrow Cable, Paladin, Deathlock, Widow, Thor and Black Knight. After months of holding back I went crazy this week. BUT, everything except Cable was at $19.99 or less, and he was less than $30, so that's not so bad.

Very nice. I saw Cable at physical retail a whopping one time and that's when I got him so I'm glad to see his price on Amazon has dropped to around $30 given people used to demand between $40 and $50.

That height works for me. I was worried he'd be Hulk-sized compared to them.

Both spidy wave and Infinty war wave 2 are listed on hts, of course they are out of stock. But keep checking they will go in and out of stock.

I was about to order an extra wolverine just to have him from HTS, then i saw the total with shipping and tax. That thing comes close to $30 bucks... needless to say i passed on it.
