These things do happen at a snails pace, they might have changed it months back when Stan was sick, and in and out of the hospital. It would look bad if his figure was on shelves while he was passing.

Tangent - I love that T'Challa and Tony pretty much hate one another. That silliness with Namor was incongruous with their shared history and personalities. The only way potential beef blooms is due to their cultures being neck and neck as the most advanced societies on the face of the planet...sans the Inhumans and Eternals - who either had stints of leaving the Earth, or simply vanishing. That Phoenix 5 aftermath dredge remains an ill fitting shoe crated largely for shock value.
