At least the falcon head looks like Sam, the Walmart Bucky looked like some kind of hipster Frankenstein monster.

Larry, the Bucky/falcon pack, and kilmonger/Ross are supposedly Target exclusives. But as far as I know no ones seen them in the wild yet.

PS, anyone watch Luke Cage season 2 yet?

And

Cyclops (Jim Lee with bomber jacket)/Jean Grey (retooled Rocket Racoon BAF wave, fix the thighs and use a new headsculpt) with Jubilee's body and trenchcoat

I'd pay $50 each all day for those.

Actually, Wolverine doesn't have to be a rerelease as they could give him the classic belt the brown costume version comes with so he can be a Cockrum Wolverine.

I think Magneto would make more sense in a two pack with Prof X though. It's not like they have to do much for the Charles. Put a bald head on the Chameleon/Purple Man/Phil body, give him a wheelchair (it could just be a reused wheel chair) and done.

Yeah, but those were not released by hasbro, my understanding is they were just leaked pics. For all we know it was just a mock up or something. I just think if hasbro had all the figures produced and packed with the BAF, Stan would have had to already sign off. For them to unpack, sort, and repack every one of those sets, then what? store thousands of Stan BAFs in some Raiders of the lost ark facility? Unless we find out Stan Lee is actually Hitler, or he use to double date with bill Cosby, I doubt he’s done anything bad enough to warrant dropping his figure. These things do happen at a snails pace, they might have changed it months back when Stan was sick, and in and out of the hospital. It would look bad if his figure was on shelves while he was passing.

Again, I think the reason for it is more the lawsuit against Stan's business manager on charges of alleged elder abuse; Hasbro doesn't want to be seen as potentially benefitting someone who committed elder abuse against Stan Lee by selling a figure of him while said abuser still has control of Stan's likeness rights/merch rights/etc. and whatnot.

I watched the first three last night, it feels pretty slow right now. They keep drumming up the same notes so far.

Man, am I behind on the Netflix shows. I still haven't even watched Jessica Jones Season 2, and now Luke Cage Season 2 is out as well? I really need to make time for 'em and get on it.

Sorry to hear about Wasp. She's a great figure. Heat my friend. Always heat!

if they are massagers...good thing she has 2

and with the wasp..i didn't force it...it was just NORMAL new figure tightness....not like it was really stuck and i'm wondering how much force to apply..

i'm only half way through the second ep.

My wife's been collecting this line since the beginning. Rubbermaid totes filled with stuff. She periodically hands me 'extras' to list on ebay, but it's been a while since the last batch. She might have some on the swap table currently....

She used to be into the DC line, as well, but that seems to have petered out. (The DCU crate in storage has dust on the lid.)

If you get the wave early and don't want him...I know a really good forever home he could be adopted into! There is always room for a mutant power draining humeradactyl in my home.

So like the beginning to every Netflix Marvel show thus far.

Pretty much yeah, but something about the beginning of Luke's second season feels more sluggish than usual to me. Of course I'm still gonna keep on watching and see where it goes.

kylactus 06-23-2018 05:06 PM

Stick with it, it gets pretty good.

Totally. I also liked when he eventually returned the blade to Dane in Captain Britain and MI-13.

Kool, we like the same shit.

Tangent - I love that T'Challa and Tony pretty much hate one another. That silliness with Namor was incongruous with their shared history and personalities. The only way potential beef blooms is due to their cultures being neck and neck as the most advanced societies on the face of the planet...sans the Inhumans and Eternals - who either had stints of leaving the Earth, or simply vanishing. That Phoenix 5 aftermath dredge remains an ill fitting shoe crated largely for shock value. Atlanteans and Wakandans have far too much common ground to be pit against one another, poor plotting by Marvel.

I initially thought the same about the Namor / Panther beef, but came to accept it. I almost respect it now because it didn’t make sense. Plenty of times in real life where beef occurs without making sense. Like two brothers fighting. Two insanely powerful brothers fighting lol.
