I'm not saying that someone didn't just paint this and put up a mock up and it's not happening after all, but it does look real.

It could be real, white skull Mysterio was a quickly implemented change. I could see Hasbro responding to demand for her having the purple hair.

That looks awful. If I end up with that one, I'm painting it black and dry brushing the purple on myself...

Tarooster 06-26-2018 02:15 PM

I'm really thinking about both the X and Spidey waves, there really isn't 1 figure from either wave that I don't want.

Spyne98 06-26-2018 04:36 PM

I'd take a purple hair Psylocke, but dry brushed might look better. I'll wait and see what I get from my online order.

Tomax 06-26-2018 05:19 PM

i really want the rider series wolverine but im painting his tank top black

Tim 06-26-2018 05:19 PM

To me at least that Psylocke looks like a underwhelming custom. But I could be wrong. Either way I’d buy her haha. They should have made the variant a x force one.

They should have made a "variant" British body armored outfit from the late 80's too. I guess that's a bit much to ask as a variant :p

I would imagine that we’ll see more X-Force variants in future waves. After all, we got Deadpool and X-23 in their X-Force costumes in the Sasquatch wave earlier this year. Psylocke, Wolverine (Logan), and All New Wolverine (Laura) in their X-Force costumes seem like easy repaints of existing figures.

Deathlok can be done too.

I wonder what the odds of the MCU Thanos pack going to clearance is. Since the only interesting things in it are a repainted BAF and a really nice Cumberbatch head I hope they're high.

I'm not taking the chance, so it'll probably end on severe clearance. ;)

So I just finished LC2 and oh my god, that ending was some
Godfather-like shit.
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

This is now my favorite Netflix season thus far. It went in places I did not expect it to go and the twists were well done. All of the characters were great as you hated the ones you were supposed to hate and felt sorry for the ones you were suppose to sympathize with. Not to mention they managed to make Iron Fist a likable character. Holy shit, I guess that can happen when you have a competent writer. I'm super excited to see how things play out in the third season as I'm not sure how there is going to be a
Heroes for Hire
season now.

My favorite line from the season though was Misty's, "I was looking for a lightning bolt since I just prayed with the devil." :lol

Erland 06-26-2018 11:06 PM

I got a question about Mariah (Mrs Stokes) and I wonder if it's just me.

Everything I see her in esp LC, something about her bothers me. She always looks like she's crying. Like her eyes are always "tearful" or watery like she's about to cry and it just ruins her as an actor for me. No matter if she's happy or sad she looks like she's crying. I hate it.

The rest of the season was pretty good. Now onto Ironfist. I've always felt that what people have hated about him in his series was intentional and eventually he would turn into how he is in LC2 it would just take time for him to come out of the "shell shock" of being back in the "real" world again. That's why I don't think it bothered me watching IF1 even though everyone hated it. Maybe I'm just an oddball that likes different.

DarthKamen 06-26-2018 11:24 PM

Semi-related to Luke Cage talk.

I've finally started Marvel Netflix. The obvious way to do it is of course to start with the acclaimed Daredevil or Jessica Jones...

So I started Iron Fist. I'm clearly in the minority but I like it so far, I'm about 6 episodes in. I'm glad to hear he's in LCs2.

The problem with that is you need to watch the shows in the order they came out due to the overall narrative that sews them all together.

After all, you wouldn't go in watching Infinity War before watching the first Iron Man, the two Avengers and Civil War.

What do you all think of Jessica Jones season 2? My brother told me the first 10 episodes are basically useless and nothing good picks up until then, he said they make Trish do the stupidest things that no real person would do. He's got me scared off it. Maybe I'll like it where my expectations are so low now.

Can Luke Cage season 2 be watched before Jessica Jones season 2? You guys got. Either excited for that.

I actually liked Iron Fist alright, but again I heard it was the worst of them so I was expecting much less than we got.

kenm2474 06-27-2018 10:33 AM

Just Picked up Green Goblin. I need Shocker now.

I thought JJ season 2 was good but I get why not everyone else would. A shared burden with most of the Marvel Netflix shows is that they tend to run too long, for most 10 episodes would be better than 13. With Jessica Jones especially you have the issue of side character plots that serve little or nothing to the main narrative, even if those characters themselves are engaging. Yeah Trish does some stupid stuff in season 2 and while they do provide her reasoning it still comes off as absolutely reckless/stupid.

I've only got one episode of Luke Cage s2 left and so far there is no need to have seen anything besides s1 and the Defenders.

@kenm2474, that's a serious Spidey collection! Nicely done.

Have fun!

I thought Jessica Jones Season 2 was excellent and far superior to the slugfest that was the first season. Sure, it has some negatives, and like all of the Netflix shows it did not need to be 13 episodes, but it made Jessica likable and Malcom had a really kick ass arc.

Thanx. I like Spidey but never enough to collect a lot of the Figures It Just Happened.

Dr Kain 06-27-2018 02:24 PM

Oh my god, FedEx is doing it AGAIN! My Spider-Man package arrived in Commerce City (Colorado) on Sunday morning, then was taken to Hendersen on Monday, back to Commerce City, and has been in Aurora since last night. They have not moved my package since then. What the hell are they doing? Are they getting paid to just sit on my package or something?
