I do hope they include a First Appearance head with some version of Tiger-Striper Wolverine sometime. I always have a bit of a soft-spot for First Appearance costumes, before they'd really figured out the character and their look.

The closest thing would be the old Toybiz Face-Off Wolverine, which was actually a decent figure.

Speaking of Wolverine, forgive the ignorance here...but, what ethnicity is Laura Kinney supposed to be? Artists seem to be all over the place with this one. I've seen images where she looks Latina, others where she looks Asian, and others where she's looks to be mixed, and others still where she looks full Caucasian. I know she's Logan's clone, so I would assume she's Caucasian, but is she a clone using only Logan's genetic makeup? I mean, the egg that was fertilized to start the process had to come from a mother donor somewhere in the first place..., right?

She’s a pure clone of Logan, if I recall correctly the X chromosome was damaged in the sample so they made a female version of him. So she’s whatever wolverine is. Being an 1800’s Canadian that could be any mix of French, Irish, Scottish, British, Native American, Inuit, and Scandinavian. When you clone a mammal the genetic information is stripped form the egg, so yeah she would have a birth mother, but they would share no genetic material.

Also Howlett is a British sir name so she’s at least partly British.... but British colonization in the 1700’s was extensive, so really wolverines family could have married into Asian, middle eastern, Indian, African, or poloniseian groups... so I guess she could be really any combination of these genetically speaking.

Over the years, in my honest opinion, the same thing can be said for Logan's appearance. When he was in Madripoor and Buscema was drawing him, he looked Asian. When Paul Smith drew him during his love affair with Mariko and the resulting tensions with clan Yashida, he also seemed to have a slightly Japanese (pan-Asian) appearance. I can't say with any degree of certainty whether the things I noticed were intentional devices on the part of the artists, or if my own perception was being altered given the subject matter. However, Marvel mired Logan's history in mystery for quite a long time, almost as if to keep people guessing on purpose. While Origins cleared up some of Logan's back story, there remains a good deal of inexactness to it all.

Along the lines of what Kylactus wrote, and spinning this to the real world, the interbreeding between human beings over however many millennia has made the identifying of features (and skin-tones) idiosincratic to specific cultures a difficult thing to do. Add to this the inconsistent presentation by a multitude of different illustrators, the subjective nature of the viewer, and you get an even deeper quagmire of speculation. The long and short is that Marvel hasn't really been specific or consistent with either Laura or Logan. Ultimately, there's no definitive answer to your question. You may be better off making up your own mind as to what's most appropriate for you.

If anyone is interested Dock Ock and Daredevil are up on HTS. I grabbed both and the Iron Man MCU figure.

I did see a couple figures from that wave at Game Stop, but they disappeared quickly and I haven’t seen any since then.

Gamestops here dont even get full waves, plus theyre glutted on iw thanos wave, dominos, vulture eings and others wave that arent moving. Looks like cull is the new abomination wave. Guess retail still hadnt learned how to differentiate between waves in the same series.

Brickseek became worthless to me the moment they stopped showing Target's stock for figures. Just telling me they have X-Men figures instock does not help me because every Target has X-Men figures instock. What I need to know is how many are actually on hand so I can know if they got new ones in or not.

Yup. Gamestop is where I found all my figs recently. I just check the store availability option to see which stores have them in stock. I've been checking every day for Psylocke. Sometimes local stores will get them even before they are available online.

Does anybody know what the hell is going on with dorkside? Both the apocalypse wave and sp//dr wave are now all over the place. Yet my orders have yet to appear lol . i recall someone saying they (dorkside) had a problem with their sp//dr shipment but geez...

Can’t be all over the place, I have yet to see any trace of anything since the Deadpool wave.

Their supplier has only been sending part of their orders. So only a percentage of their customers have been getting their figures. As far as I know, they've only gotten part of the Sp//der wave in with a lot of damaged packaging. They fulfilled the orders they could for cases and used the damaged packs to fullfill loose orders. I don’t think they've gotten the Apocalypse wave in yet.

From what they’ve said on Fwoosh, they’re fulfilling orders for the Rogue One tank this week and part of next week. After that they’ll start shipping out some of the 10th Anniversary Marvel Legends figures. No idea if they’ve gotten their full order on those.

I'm seeing all over that group on FB people are posting entire waves and doubles some figures.

Yeah, but that still doesn't mean they're hitting wide retail. Haven't seen anything in these parts. We're still slogging through Sasquatch and MCU Thanos waves, with nary an X in sight.

Nothing of avengers wave 2, apocalypse wave, hell my area hasn’t really seen the SP lizard wave,... but hell of you need a Warlock wave both my target and Walmart have them heavy now, this was of course after I never saw them but once when they were released! Finally picked up colossus!

Some people have been finding the Apocalypse wave, or a few figures from it, at Walgreens but I wouldn't say that it's hit retail just yet. Some of the Walmarts in my area just put out a fresh case of the Thanos wave. In fact, I was able to complete the Thanos BAF yesterday because of it. But most stores in my area still have a lot of figures from the BP, Avengers, and Deadpool waves.

Can't be all that much longer of a wait. I just got my notification from BBTS that my Spider-Man wave should ship soon.

I really want to get my Red Skull pre-order in for the 10th anniversary wave, however I'm waiting to see if that rumored SDCC pack with the Tesseract actually pans out to something.

Rumored no longer! But I think the 10th Anniversary version may be better.
