I like the way the new head sculpt sits lower on the neck, bit I wish the mask was more fanned out. Do you think heating it up would allow the ear pieces to bend out, or are they solid?

My own personal burn out over the MCU aside, I find it disappointing that there have been more cameos from ESPN personalities in one episode of Luke Cage than there has been from any of the MCU big screen mainstays over the entirety of all of the series combined.
MCU indeed. I'd settle for Frank Caliendo doing an impersonation of Nick Fury through a phone conversation at this point. |

:D Of course, you make a lot of great points. It's entirely possible to not enjoy something while acknowledging its quality. And I wouldn't be surprised if they've had those same discussions internally in an effort to keep the machine humming. To his credit, Feige and those plotting the course of this have guessed right and put all of the best people in position to succeed. I'm open to any sort of conversation like this with objective observers, I think it's interesting. Eventually they're going to need to branch out and try these new things, Man-Thing has potential. Doom might be a harder one to sell to people, but I'd watch the hell out of it. But I don't want Fox making it. So if the Disney acquisition goes through, that opens up a lot of doors. Nova seems inevitable, still holding onto the hope that they build up enough of these cosmic pieces for an Annihilation movie. That's top tier stuff, for me. Throw in the Surfer, Nova, the Guardians. Even Carol, why not? Holy crap. |
The original Spider-Man had the best ending I've ever seen in a superhero movie...period.

2. Yondu Both very emotional. It's premature to start engraving tombstones of anyone that died during Infinity War, but Loki and Heimdall getting iced right away was pretty brutal. Loki especially, who had quite the roller coaster of an arc. We may very well see him again, but I'm not sure that means he'll be back. |

Went to Hellmart, my nearest Walmart, and found "most" of the Lizard wave. The first time I have ever seen it in retail (outside of Spider-Woman once at a Game Stop.) They did NOT have Mysterio of course, or Noir, but had all the rest...even more annoying they had three Spider-Woman/Women? so that means at some point they had THREE Mysterios. That just boils my butter.

4 Gamora 5. Everyone cap lost to time while frozen 6. Tony’s parents, and he got to watch it! 7. Rody’s Legs 8. Several blocks of New York. (If you saw something like that you’d be traumatized) And even if the current situation doesn’t last IW was a bit emotional Captain Nash, the only lizard wave figure my local Walmart had was one Noir, but someone stole his lazer pistols, why, I have no idea. And there ant man display, loaded with last years x wave for some reason, was all Polaris, dazzler, and shatter star. |

Just saw Ant-Man and Wasp. Fun flick that balanced humor and action while tying into the MCU nicely. I know people are waiting on these Marvel films to tank, but I don’t see it anytime soon.
My biggest beef with Hasbro is their failure to capitalize on some of these well designed MCU villains. Ghost is a figure I’m looking forward to seeing one day, in addition to Glaive, Maw, and Yellowjacket (I know we are finally getting that one). |
@Arbor
The fights can be a little hit or miss. The MCU does a great job with street level mixed martial melees. That Cap elevator fight is still one for the books…they might also have a handle on Spidey’s strength, but I need to see more. That said, the high level donnybrooks leave a little to be desired. The presentation feels a tad too pedestrian. As much as people pan DC flicks, in my opinion, those movies have a better appreciation of the scope for ultra-powered beings throwing down. @BFinger Ahh…when the good ones go bad, they are always the most frightening…I know from my own decent into madness. Ha!..plus I much prefer evil to be an abstraction, rather than personified in an actual being like Feige. ;) But, yeah, Feige’s done a great job and he’s to be commended. However, I believe he could stand to take a few more chances. I’d be in for a truly R rated Punisher, Moon Knight, or Satana mature-feature. I’m getting bored and, of course, as always, it’s ALL about me.:p jokes...I gots 'em. I’m a long term intense Cosmic Marvel fan with Annihilation being one of my favorite epics of all time, but after seeing them butcher Planet Hulk (oh the boiling anger)…I think I’d prefer a feature length animated flick that would be free of box office dynamics/expectations allowing it to remain true to source. |
As I said, I suspect that they've had discussions and will need new ideas to let this thing continue to flourish. I wouldn't count them out yet. There will be a charisma vacuum to fill once Cap and Iron Man bow out. Maybe Thor stays, I dunno. I'm cool with a Satana movie because.... reasons. I don't think they could sell it to the general public, though.
Also, you commended him, no backsies! Quote:
https://i.imgur.com/j3IBhcd.gif And consequently, he is dead. What they planted to make a new Groot has none of those memories or connections, essentially starting over with the same genetic material. The same way that Logan lives on through his daughter. So it's "A" Groot, just not the same guy. Partial credit? His death scene was pretty moving stuff, yes? |
I'm glad that I don't really want a lot of the released and upcoming waves. I want the Venom wave, a few 10th anniversary figures and the IW wave 2 but that's it.
And Noir. |
Backsies are positively presidential nowadays...I reserve my patriotic right to be an ass and a lout, then promptly forget all of that while claiming victimhood 5 minutes later….
...I could also do an R rated Union Jack vamp movie...and yeah, Satana could be sold as a vamp flick....she could succubus me anytime. |

So glad I don't care about Apocalypse for whatever reason... always liked Mr. Sinister more. That BAF Apocalypse looks pretty awesome with the shiny blue paint job.
Preordered Psylocke from Gamestop today... only had to pay 5 bucks up front. Just need to see who is in the next X-men wave now. |
To anyone who has already received their Marvel Studios 10th anniversary Cap and Crossbones set, does the new unmasked and masked head(s) fit on any of the previous MCU Cap releases?

Just be aware, the art work in X-Cutioner's Song is a mess at times. The X-Factor book looks like it was drawn by 5 year olds.
I do agree about it having a cool Apocalypse moment though. It was my first X-Men crossover story. |
