We got the end cap display for ant man with those god awful 12” Titan 5 POA POS’s and one of every peg warmer from the warlock wave, one Polaris, one shatter star,one dazzler, one sun fire, and the big FU of the bunch, one old man Logan, whose hair was not painted....

All the stores in my area have seen a refresh of the warlock wave as well. It’s very strange. Were they sitting on those figures or something? I haven’t seen one cyclops in the all refreshes.

I came across a B&B Deadpool case today as well. I remember back in November-December chasing him down, and never finding him. A family member had to get him from an out of town GS for me as a Christmas gift.

Odd to see so many now.

I got the MCU Ronan, Red Skull, and Thor 2 pack from Dorkside today. Thor and Sif are easily the best out of the four figures I picked up. The face printing for Sif is so good it looks like I have a tiny Jamie Alexander standing on my desk. And this new Thor is easily on par with the Infinity War Thor figure, if not better.

Marvel Monday perhaps? I'm sure we'll see something but I hope they don't reveal everything before SDCC. Maybe they'll preview a Venom figure from the new movie? This image was released today so maybe we'll get to see some movie toys soon.

So got a comic question. My girlfriend collects comic Legends pretty heavily, I personally have under 10. Well I had bought a lot with a couple figures she wanted and planned on selling the rest that would recoup most of the money. Well when we get it today she decides she really likes the Space Venom wave Electro. Thing is he was one of the most valuable figures in that lot. What's a good comic series or small arc featuring Electro and his character? She really only collects villians if she likes them in her comics but hasn't read anything with him yet.

Yes I'd rather her sell it off but I'd appreciate some suggestions for her.

Back in Black Deadpool seems to have gone from being a GameStop exclusive, to a shared GameStop-TRU exclusive, to a mass-retail figure. Does anyone remember the last time we got a single non-exclusive mass retail figure that wasn't part of a wave?

If he gets discounted (like hardcore) he'd make good custom fodder.

Got the black-haired/matte-blue Psylocke through Amazon. Need to figure out how to find the purple-haired/metallic-blue Psylocke, now. Hope this running change/variant concept doesn't become a "thing" from now on...

Nice grab. I agree about needing both versions and I also hope we're not seeing the return of the "running change." I’m not entirely sure, but the green skull Mysterio may have been one as well…

So far we’ve had...
1. Mysterio : green head/ white head
2. IW cap: light blonde/ brown
3. Psylocke: black hair/ purple hair

Maybe they’re worried they’re overwhelming collectors so they throw in some variants to entice us and distract from fatigue?

I do like variants though, I think it spices the hunt up a bit.

Electro had a big role in the opening story of "New Avengers" where he was hired to infiltrate the raft and breakout the villains to cause a huge riot :)

T'Chaka's Black Panther suit perhaps? Or Killmonger in the Vegeta-inspired military suit he wore prior to becoming Black Panther?
Doctor Doom? White Tiger? Not sure.

It'd be nice if the BAF was a comic-based M'Baku. Alternatively, it'd be awesome if they threw in Storm somewhere in this wave. Maybe it'd be her X-Men vs Avengers costume to make it fit the Black Panther theme better, which would be close to her First Appearance look, but I'd still prefer her Jim Lee costume above all else.

Eh, not necessarily. I think Black Panther was a surprise box office smash for everyone involved. Hasbro probably wasn't anticipating the movie to do as well as it did, so now they're hurrying back to capitalize on it.


Plus a lot of people have been wanting certain characters from the movie, so this is their chance to get them.

Pixel Dan posted a review of the wave and had the purple haired version, Hasbro sent it to him. I have to say I think I'd rather get the version you have and repaint the hair, at least her matte blue matches Jim Lee Cyke and tiger stripe Wolvie
