I think this is a good way to think about buying toys, a meal or night out is a one off, a toy lasts forever.

You should of course take your significant other out once in a while otherwise they might get grumpy.

@LM: What I do is i have two windows open, have one at the very last page, the other just hit quote, then type w/e, then copy paste onto the first page, then hit back on the second page, and rinse repeat.

I have one sitting in my living room and it is nice to look at. Even my wife thinks it looks cool--and she hates my toys.

it's just to big and bulky and its not to scale. they need to do more of a diaroma that is more to scale. like the Danger Room or a section of the helicarrier or maybe even a generic street scene with a sidewalk street and a couple of town houses and an alley. Heck if they were smart I would have done something like a build a figure diaroma version Thing in a yancey street corner Daredevil in a pool hall Spider-man Daily bugle and have it connect somehow like they do with those base stands.
