I saw the heil sign and thought of nazi's too but I've seen that used in other mediums for a simple salute as well but I guess with the lasting mark of the nazis on history it is easy to see the association. However I hope that wasn't what Marvel had in mind, and am hoping they were just going with franklin because of the overall impact to the story. but I also believe someone in editing should have caught that.

overall I think it has a corruption of the innocence vibe to it.

what I was getting at is I hardly think marvel was aiming to put out a nazi ish cover,I do see your point of view but its in no way related,that would be idiotic of them to do and cause alot of outcry,which it did not,anyway,all of our join dates are right below our avatar,I joined in feb of 2011.

see I dont see any of that,its a mere cover to a comic book,though if I look at it then look at the context of the FF storyline,I guess it really does not make alot of sense as it does not fit,unless it is saying franklin is behind Doom because in the FF series Doom is a semi good guy,no?

oh and that salute was used by the romans like what,2000 yrs ago?they originated it,the nazis just used it.

Regarding the whole Nazi thing, I still get a kick about people's misunderstanding of the swastika and skinhead's past meaning. Hardworking skinheads were quite the inspiration of great Ska music.
