Jubilee's face is really nice! Hasbro has upped their game with the ladies as of late, I hope they keep it up!

Random villain & villainous-hero appreciation....

En Sabah Nerd 08-20-2014 06:45 PM

I think both 6" and 3.75" Marvel lines should get a new Holocaust/Nemesis/Genocide figure. The guy looks cool no matter what name he carries and villains always need more toys.

I just hope they re-release it on the Storm body. It seems that Hasbro is trying to move away from that original body.

I wonder what the chances of us getting a ML Mockingbird will be now that she has been cast for Agents of Shield. She has been one of my top wants for a VERY long time now

I'm up for any Mockingbird, even a new uni would be fine, so long as we can tell her apart from any old SHIELD agent! Lol. When I read the Hawkeye limited series way back when, Bobbi became a favourite character

jmurray90720 08-21-2014 01:56 AM

Can anyone take a picture of the X Men Classics X Treme Rogue (either variation) next to Storm, Jubilee, Jean or any modern female legends? I want to see if she has held up before I spend $60 on her.

Relena Warcraft 08-21-2014 06:13 AM

The short answer is no, she hasn't held up. :P

That is a good call indeed.

T16skyhopp 08-21-2014 07:24 AM

Yeah, unless you NEED the extreme costume, pass on that figure.

Or just a Rogue in general, since that one IS the better of the two...

Here are the pictures you requested. Rather than offer my opinion, which can be subjective, you can make up your own mind....

The only judgement I would offer is that for $60, I would hope it is mint-in-package and the long-hair variant (not pictured).

I hope this helps...

ultraman zoffy 08-21-2014 09:05 AM

The head on that Rogue figure is just... ugh. Side by side, it's really clear that Hasbro stepped it's game up. Random observation, but I find it amazing how big the modern female heads are compared to the original HML Elektra head, yet they still manage to look great on the Elektra body years after its first use. I guess the Elektra head was a little undersized for its time?

TheBlueMarvel 08-21-2014 09:16 AM

The female faces, on balance, have been better as of late for the Legends line. However, the face for the Extreme Rogue does look quite similar to the illustrations Salvador Larroca was putting out at the time (sunken cheeks/more prominent cheek bones?) and the costume is exact (although the sculpt was shared with Domino).

I second this. Classic or new outfit either way is fine by me. Given the slight push she's gotten from Marvel since her return in SI I'm surprised they haven't made her figure yet went ahead and did a MU figure. Not that I'm complaining that we got that.

ChuckSass 08-21-2014 10:38 AM

still in need of Magento and Stryfe's Jubilee parts… if you got em

I like that black widow

TheBlueMarvel 08-21-2014 12:02 PM

@xMostWanted559x

My favorite is the the gray 80's version....Is that the one you meant?

jmurray90720 08-21-2014 01:04 PM

Thank you. I previously owned it and enjoyed the figure, the sunglasses detract from the ugly face. I was mostly worried about height, and I see that she towers over Jubilee which is great and is not TOO thin. I found the long hair jacketless version MOC for $60, but it is more about having a Rogue and not about rarity.

Even then I would hold out for a new one before dropping $60 on that one. I have the Domino ugh that body ugh. At a low price I'd grab it to have a Rogue and be fine, but not at what it goes for.

TheBlueMarvel 08-21-2014 01:18 PM

I'm just glad it helped. I didn't want to influence you with my opinion, but I also like the figure. You are right about the glasses sort of blunting the roughness of the face. In fact, I think some of the gaunt look of the face (narrow spacing between the eyes) may be a result of building/sculpting the face to accommodate her spectacles. She is also pretty tall, as you pointed out. Do I want that unreleased Rogue? Of course, but I also like the extreme version. Enjoy your purchase!
