So now that Silver Surfer seems to be out and about I wonder when Thing will be in good quantity. I can't recall if people have found him in the states or not? Is it August 31st when his semi official release is?

I really hate that Gamestop is now becoming a place to find legends. That over inflated price they sell at is crazy. Honestly my favorite place to buy is walgreens for the points/discounts.

I would love it if my local Walgreen has newer LEGENDS. They are choking on Antman and DAREDEVIL figures with a few Namor,Sue and Enchantress sprinkled in.

Target had just the Infinity War pack out for 10th anniversary stuff so I picked it up. The humor of the situation is that when I got home I checked my e-mails and BBTS is processing my pre-order of this set so it's too late for me to cancel. When it arrives I'll just return that one to Target because I couldn't resist opening this set.

Iron Man is easily the dead weight of this pack. It's not awful because it is just the IW wave 1 figure with a less articulated body featuring a light-up gimmick. The light works well and it does look neat but overall this one looks very "toy" compared to the more detailed figures alongside it.

Dr Strange was a figure I've been looking forward to and he doesn't disappoint. I thought the time spell on his right hand would be removable and it's not, this isn't personally upsetting but it is noteworthy. The Cumberbatch likeness is quite impressive in hand especially compared to the weak face of Hasbro's previous (and first) MCU Strange.

Thanos is the definite star of the set. It is a total improvement on the BAF version's colors and the new heads are a lot better than the smiling grape the BAF had. The articulation is obviously directly shared from the BAF which is to say there are limitations but for presence on the shelf this is a fantastic movie Thanos.

My Walgreens has like 6 Kamala Khans, a couple Sharon Carters, Copperhead and a Mockingbird. I wouldn't take any of them for free let alone for $20, $14.99 or $12.99. Its a hopeless situation. I'll probably resort to eBay for Reed, Thing, Magik and Mystique.

While not a fan of their mark-up, GameStop has been the only retail store in my area that I've actually been able to find the current Legends (Cull Obsidian & SP//dr waves) on shelves. All of the Targets, Walmarts, & Walgreens nearby haven't had any new product since the first Infinity War wave.

Well that was a wasted trip. Walgreen's site said a store 19 miles from me had Silver Surver instock so we went there and nothing. -_-

Also, still nothing from Dorkside on shipping my X-Men wave.

^ Yah, Walgreens has the worst online store inventory checker thing... learned that when I was hunting Punisher.

I will bet that Spider Ham will eventually be the biggest pegwarmer from that wave once things settle down. I've never seen that yellow spawn guy though... not once. When I bought my Venom I saw everyone but the yellow guy.

I think that maybe Walgreens actually has a unique number/code/thing for Surfer because I was at a store that had other Legends with no Surfer and the site said they didn't have him but the one store the site said had him actually did (though not directly on shelves yet). As where with the Punisher it said every store in my area had him because he shared the number/code/thing with the other exclusive figures at the time.

I would never have guessed... :p

I called FIVE stores that said they had SS in stock and NADA.
Two stores i stopped in didn't either, but they were on the path i was walking so i didn't go out of the way.

- Classic Mystique, Emma Frost (black costume) and possible Dani Moonstar Walgreens Exclusives

- Shuri apart of the Avengers 4 wave. Also Ebony Maw and Corvus Glaive to round out the Black Order.

- Spider-Man Homecoming 2-pack, with Tech Suit Spidey wearing the school jacket and Michelle "MJ" (which is kind of an odd choice, I was hoping we'd get MCU Shocker). Having that female teen body mold would definitely be nice though if you wanted to have Gwen Stacy.

- Some tech suit 2-pack. Details are kinda vague honestly.

- MCU Loki is in a 2-pack with....somebody. I would say it's meant to be an Avengers 1 2-pack. My hunch is either a Hulk from the first Avengers movie (that they can later use for a comic book Hulk) or possibly an updated MCU Hawkeye.

- MCU Captain Marvel will be coming with multiple heads

- Classic Ms. Marvel with an alternate Moonstone head to round out the Dark Avengers (really hope they do an updated Iron Patriot and Daken)

- Super Skrull Walgreens Exclusive might still be out in December


Honestly if these are all true, these reveals are more exciting than SDCC...

Mystique would be the only one of those three I would buy for sure. Moonstar would depend on what version (definitely if New Mutants yellow suit version), but haivng a black costumed Frost seems to defy the point when she is called the White Queen.

Would definitely be interested in Zola since I missed the original one.

No idea what this means, but if it isn't the classic or 2099 design, no buy for me.

which I'm convinced Hasbro is only doing over Classic Doom because they can just reuse the Invincible Iron-Man from the Okoye BAF wave.

Im perfectly okay with it as soom is great whether villian or semi-hero. I wish he’d have stayed in the ironsuit as he was awesome as ironsoom! I hope he come with an unmasked head too.

Meh. It's awesome for those who are a fan of this look, but in general, Hasbro keeps double dipping. They know people will buy this version of Doom and the Apocalypse wave Magneto because we still don't have particularly good versions of either character. Then a couple of months later, they'll reveal that they're actually doing the character in the look that everybody wanted and the look they should have done in the first place.

They're doing a great job of giving us classic characters in iconic looks, but then when it comes down to the last character we need to complete a team or lineup, they'll release that character in a complete curveball costume.
