Read your own comments from time to time. Instead of being "This sucks", "Why are they doing this", "Where is this character", "This company is bad", maybe don’t say anything for once. Your constant negativity is simply annoying.

You can complain all you want, but don’t be surprised when people get fed up with it.

I do understand perfectly what you mean. You care only about very specific instances of the same 2-3 franchises from Tamashii, they aren't giving those to you anymore, now you're mad.

Anyways, I would assume MechaGodzilla is "Godzilla-esque" so probably Mecha King Ghidorah from like 4 years back. But that surprises nobody as MonsterArts is on live-support for over 5 years now. Mostly because collectors don’t care for anything non-Heisei apparently.

A lot more. Mostly because there are a lot more Iron Man armors than there are Thor and Black Widow designs.

Boba Fett, last week. But again: It’s blatantly obvious that you measure Tamashii's worth by them releasing the very specific items you care about. They've done prequel-stuff, new trilogy-stuff and redone some characters from the original movies. Just because you don’t care about them doesn't mean they don’t exist and aren’t selling.

Because the Showa Ultraman era is long over, and the only way you're selling specific characters and monsters based on it is nostalgia. But that only works on the really popular monsters like Baltan and Zetton. Stuff like Twintail flopped, and that's the reason they can't continue doing every single alien and monster: They won’t sell as well as the big guns.

Would a Dinosaur Tank be amazing? Absolutely. Would it sell well? Probably not.

Yup, because they already did Ultraseven himself, his human identity, and a few popular, well-known enemies. Everything else becomes a bit too niche or might not work anymore.

You'd be surprised how many people are perfectly fine with only owning the poster boy of their favorite franchise. That is in fact a huge factor as to why full lineups are rarely done: There just aren't that many instances were a show and its entire cast is so well known that collectors jump on every release possible. Especially given the cost of Japanese premium figures.

Now I become the broken record: Probably because the interest wasn't there, probably because it wouldn’t be worth releasing financially-wise.

Probably the Phantoms. And they were the last ones for a reason: Both the Zodiarts and the Phantoms sold abysmally. Most are available for bargain sale prices to this very day. No one wanted them.

Many people, including me. They buy the Red Ranger and the Sixth Ranger because they are the most unique and then skip the rest, mostly since the costumes are too identical to warrant a purchase of such a high number of expensive collectibles.

Hasbro actually knows this, which is why they’re releasing single members from multiple teams in each wave instead of pumping out full teams every half a year.

By offering a boxset for the combined price of all figures you lose the only reliable costumers you had to begin with: Those who pick and choose. They can’t possibly make a profit from a 200-300$ boxset.

Absolutely agreed. That's the fault of people who have nothing to do with making collectibles for adults though.

Only if you blatantly ignore the posts that are not complaints. You know, like my entire post about the PR Lightning Collection and the recent Marvel Legends I acquired.

They won't know if they don't do anything. The fact that some bootlegger made a Showa Ghidorah in MonsterArts style is quite saddening. I shouldn't have to resort to a bootlegger to get my Showa fix.

Fair enough.

I did not know they released him. Thanks for the info.

Nostalgia only works though if you actually grew up with those shows. I am pretty much new to the Ultraman franchise, so I have no nostalgia for the shows.

Hopefully thoug the Mill Creek BDs coming out over the next few months will sell well enough to get Bandai to realize there is a market they are sorely missing out on.

I see what you mean, I just don't get it then. Who the hell wants to have Ledouche without Sazaku, C2, Kallen, etc? Okay, maybe some, as you say, but me, nope. I hate that Lelouch figure because I have no one to go with him. I tossed him in a container that is in the closet because he does me no good by himself.

Most of those were part of the Zero line though, which defies the whole point of having them at all. I hate the King Dopant dude becuase I can't do jackshit with him. At this point I only kept him because he was the main villain to W.

See, if you are a fan of the series, you're going to want the whole team. My Dairanger collection sucks ass only having Ryu Ranger and Kiba Ranger in it. If Dairanger wasn't my favorite Sentai series, I'd totally dump them.

Except they are still working towards getting full teams completed.

They would never know because they never bothered to try. Also, clearly the Sentai customers weren't reliable to begin with since they weren't buying the figures anyway.
