I seem to have stumbled into a rabbit hole full of Predators. Randomly came across a single, lonely Clan Leader at my TRU a couple weeks ago and decided to grab him since it was one that had caught my eye before. Welp, he's great, and now I'm looking for one more. Or maybe more than that! So far, I've got my eye on Scarface, Temple Guardian, and maybe Masked Scar and Spike Tail.

What's the story with those Big Red KOs on eBay? Are they any good, like the KO NECA TMNT figures?

Masked Scar might be harder to get now since his series is out of production (these figures quickly lose their "new" factor and gain aftermarket price) but the new Youngblood is mostly the same toy. I am pretty sure Spiked Tail is still available on TRU's site but I must caution that he is very QC issue prone, probably one of the worst QC figures in NECA's recent history.

Beyond the fear of lead paint I think some people or at least one here on the Ark got a KO Big Red and it's not bad.

I noticed that about Youngblood, but I don't really like the spear with the Alien head on it. If the head was removable I'd maybe consider it. Thanks for the suggestion though, and for the warning about Spike Tail's QC issues.

I also think Youngblood is too shiny-new looking with his armor. Spiked Tail I definitely think looks really cool and I'm glad to have him but there's no denying that somewhere along the line somebody goofed up bad because it is unfortunately common to get that figure with issues. The first Spiked Tail I got had his hip joints freaking disintegrate at the crotch leaving tiny plastic shards all over my desk space and the replacement I picked up had his left gauntlet joint snap but that one plugs back on pretty well so I kept it.

Yeah, don't care for Youngblood's shine either. That's ridiculous for Spike Tail! Might skip that one.

New user here. Been collecting both lines since the AvP wave came out. I initially skipped the recent Kenner wave but seeing them in person changed my mine. Just picked up a loose Spiked Tail Predator that seems complete!

I've been eyeing the Stalker Predator as well; even though I don't usually like glow-in-the-dark features the bio-mask looks really cool. The only problem is I want to get the Serpent Hunter and Elder from series 17 first and then get Stalker with any loose change, but it seems like the whole wave's been scattered around on who gets them and not. People have been spotting them at TRU's since the beginning of March, and I can't find anything in all the local stores. It's strange since my local comic store says they get all their shipments directly from NECA...

Have you tried ordering from TRU's site? It's obviously a bit of a gamble but I've actually had pretty good experience with it and it's pretty easy to earn free shipping.

I've done it for the Scarface Predator. The figure arrived fine but it took them more than a week to deliver. It may have been because of limited stock but with that and being able to spot any issues I prefer getting figures in-store. Plus I'm pretty good friends with the comic store owner and usually get discounts so I'm hoping they get them in during April.

i've had spiked tail and even both the gorilla and mantis alien, i sadly have not even opened them yet. i need to get one it already !! lol

Picked up Serpent Hunter yesterday and I absolutely LOVE this guy. I haven't had this much fun just posing and messing around with a figure in a long time. Just wish the Aliens figures weren't so expensive on Amazon and eBay because they didn't have any in the bookstore I went to yesterday and those are about my only options around here.

And if I'm not mistaken they're going to be re-releasing Dutch sometime soon yeah? That'd be awesome.

Indeed, they're releasing four previous versions of Dutch. Personally I am after the final battle (mud covered) Dutch as I had never saw it in person during its original release.

Just stumbled across some pictures of this yellow xenomorph from SDCC. Do we know when it's coming out? Is it true that it's based on the pizza aliens from TMNT?

Nothing is known about that so far as I've seen. It could just be something they threw together for the display. It is a possible indication of getting an AVPR warrior at some point since that's pretty much what it is but in yellow. Since the pizza aliens from TMNT were based on or a reference to the alien it seems weird to say that this would be based on them, it could be a reference though I guess. I don't remember if anything was said on that.

Most likely a reference to a figure from the original Aliens Arcade game, but it wouldn't surprise me for the TMNT Arcade reference as well.

I ran into the pink Arcade Aliens Arcade Xeno yesterday at TRU, but I just could not pull the trigger, as the NECA repaint trend is finally starting to get to me, and I could not justify dropping another 25 dollars on a Xeno, only this one being pink. It's a cool deal though considering that you also get an Arcade Burster, Hugger, and Egg, but I really want to see something original at this point, or have them pick up the pace with the Kenner Aliens. Hopefully we won't have to wait 4 or 5 years for them to get through the entire line like we did with the Predators, although I have a feeling we will be waiting a long time, which might be too long to maintain my interest in the line at this point.

I don't know what it is, but that yellow one is pushing all the right buttons for me. Here's hoping they'll actually produce it.

I came across the pink arcade Alien today too, & I'm liking it more than expected. Starting to toy with the idea of getting it and starting a colors of the rainbow Alien collection.

Seems like a "yes" to me. Very glad that they would appear to be using her actual comic appearance (where that gun comes from) and not one of the super sexified designs like Sideshow used.
