I noticed when looking at it also. The illustrator was overcome with fatigue in that series of panels and said 'eFF it.

If you have a Gamestop near you, I just scored the new Endless Winter Aquaman for 16 bucks, and Target has both 3 Jokers, uh, Jokers marked down to 6 bucks! And the 3J Batman for 13! Some good deals to be had today!

Black Adam
It still makes absolute zero sense that they chose to make that King Shazam figure without making Shazam first. The base is a fine body. But by now having a lower collar designed in the buck, we get a Black Adam with a high Dwyane Johnson fannypsack collar. I really like how the shoulders protrude from the body. Feels like the have more weight. https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1651516858 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1651516858 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1651516858 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1651516858 |

https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1652148527 Look I appreciate the body the company made, but man choosing such an extreme expression was a bad choice. Until they make a bearded long haired Aquaman with a neutral face, NECA Flash Gordon is in the DC Multiverse. https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1652148527 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1652148527 https://www.toyark.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1652148527 |
I was at Hobby Lobby this afternoon noticed that they had the DKR 2 pack in the aisle with the models. I've seen Funko Pops at HL but I've never seen DC Multiverse figures there.

I stopped at HL today, and they did have a few McFarlanes and other figures. It wasn't much, but knowing that they're a possibility for the future is a helpful piece of info.

I stopped by a few Gamestops and a couple of Books-A-Millions today. I saw the IJ2 Green Arrow and Arkham Knight at the two BAMs. I also saw Grifter and Jon Kent Superman at GS. Godspeed was at both BAM and GS.

The first set images from the Blue Beetle movie have come out. Definitely, DEFINITELY want a figure of this BB.

Looks like they took heavy cues from his Injustice 2 look, which I know is generally just how Jaime looks but the more organic textures definitely remind me of that.

Saw some new figures in the wild today.
One of the Targets I stopped by had the Crime Syndicate Superwoman. One of the Walmart's I stopped at had the Gold Label movie Catwoman. The two Gamestops I stopped at had the Batman vs Hush 2 pack, the Hush single, Grifter, Jon Kent Superman, Godspeed, and the CW Flash. ***Edit*** I forgot to mention that if you want to pick up the CW Flash at Gamestop, make sure they price match it with Amazon since it's $5 cheaper. |
I picked up the Hush 2 pack yesterday. Much to my surprise, the elbow joints on Batman are gray plastic that has been painted black. I've been able to remove most of the paint with rubbing alcohol but what's left is really stubborn. I'm going to leave them soaking a little longer before I try to remove the rest with acetone.

Does anyone else remember when a Batman and Robin wave was rumored?
I would kill to finally get a Uma Therman poison ivy |
Here's what I appreciate about McFarlane…
These are releases for this year, by company, that I've gotten in hand. Hasbro (G.I. Joe Classified): 2 Diamond Select: 3 Mafex: 3 Super7: 7 Mattel (Origins & Masterverse): 20 NECA: 20 McFarlane: 107 This is release count, not figure count, so 2 packs, 4 packs, etc are 1. Kind of eye-opening how very little G.I. Joe Classified stuff has actually come out. |

Seriously, I've never seen a toy line sputter through it's first two years of existence the way classified has. Hasbro started the Power Rangers Lightning Collection a year before Classified and it's been fairly consistent with releasing new figures. And yet, the GI Joe team just can't seem to figure it out. The only thing I would knock McFarlane for would be the Year 2 Batman fiasco. Broken figures AND completely missing the release date by 4(?) months. Quote:
I'd be down for an Uma Thurman Poison Ivy, so long as it's the first costume she wore in the movie. https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca88...FS-dUu3XSeJwwQ |
