Space, dude, is the final frontier... these are the voyages of the starship 'this toy's too big for my house which is tiny cause I live in the UK'... it's endless mission to find new toys and new toylines... to boldly go where nobody thought of storing things and then store toys there - still in their boxes!

Seriously though, storage space is a big issue.

Sounds like somebody needs to put their starship into warp factor nine and make their way to the IKEA nebula.

£70 you say?

Argos are doing 3 for 2 on all superhero toys INCLUDING the Hellicarrier, if you find 2 other people who want it that would bring it down to £47 per person + shipping

Thats not too bad tbh,

Jimmyo 07-23-2012 12:32 AM

Or you could get a quinjet, helicarrier and the spider copter with the lizard and shocker figures for £102,

Panthro1978 07-23-2012 03:34 AM

Nothing new from Liverpool TRU. They did, however, have LOTR Lego - a set that I think was Shelob - for £19.99.

PrimeWolf 07-23-2012 02:10 PM

I saw that 3 for 2 offer on Argos. The first thing I thought was:

"9 foot Helicarrier...?"

Took me a couple of hours to talk myself out of it.

I'm hoping that the Planet will get the supercarrier first though, if that falls through I'll get one from Argos. Just wish there was a review of the regular carrier somewhere.

Jimmyo 07-23-2012 02:20 PM

I picked up the Regular one and a quinjet today we already had the spideycopter but the lady behind the counter was kind enough to let me refund and rebuy it without having to bring it in.

So for £67 today Scarlett got a quinjet and a Helicarrier she has not opened them yet but it looks like its only missing an extended bit infront of the tower, if you got a few you could cut and shut them quite easily tbh

Jackieboy 07-24-2012 04:11 AM

Look what turned up on the pegs at Forbidden Planet.

Oh and i dont think buying the Helicarrier from FP would be wise, stick with the argos deal
@Jimmyo so when are we going to get a few photos of these wonderful items you got????
This thread should be more photo friendly at the very least.

Scarlett is keeping the vehicles wrapped for her birthday but at some point during the holidays we will snap a few collection pics.

£11 on ebay, it was one of the few bargains I have had from there and it really is a beast of a figure I think we are going to grab a few more of the BAF figures.

These are just the things she knows about for her birthday (the spideycopter is a maths incentive) I have tons of stuff left to reveal but she uses the forum as much as I do so I can't say anymore lol.

Jimmyo 07-24-2012 05:17 AM

As I said earlier she does want to do collection pics but we just need to decide where to start and get on with it.

That was a bargain indeed,i did not like his scale next to ML figures, but he dominates at MU scale more true to the comics.the only problem i have with mine is that the arm articulation is very stiff.im curious about the spideycopter is that being advertised in the Catalogue?i have not seen it in the irish catalogue and i really only want the shocker figure.

It's down to £30 now and still in the 2 for 3 promo catalogue No. is 908/0399

Jimmyo 07-24-2012 07:39 AM

FP have put my wave 18 pre-orders back till the 30th september, FFS Hasbro give the UK a chance. we already pay more per figure than anywhere else atleast give us the option of getting them at retail

Jackieboy 07-24-2012 01:31 PM

The usual story jimmyo, and to add to our woes, some of the chinese ebay sellers have increased their prices.this might interest you.

eBay My World - superherohaven

He has beta ray bill and Kraven.

Jimmyo 07-24-2012 01:42 PM

They are pre-ordered through him and he ships once they are arrive If he had stock I would take the trip as its only in Brighton and the weather is nice enough at the moment to go grab a choc ice on the beach

Jimmyo 07-24-2012 01:43 PM

Some of the chinese guys have got a little greedy and started asking for proper money now lol, most have stopped combining shipping as well so if you grab a batch it's like £18 before you even take into account the items themselves

so he actually does not have the figures in his possession?i was tempted at first but figured if i did buy from him then they would turn up all over my city,so ill hold out a little longer.

yup,i hear that.i think the chinese guys seen what the US and English sellers are commanding price wise for MU,now they want in on the scalping game :D

Zictor 07-24-2012 07:49 PM

If anyone visits Forbidden Planet or Orbital Comics in the next few weeks can you let me know if any of the new Marvel Universe figures start showing up? I'm eager to get back in the game. I picked up a few stragglers when I visited the US, but still haven't been able to get every figure I'm after... I know most normal toy stores are only doing the movie lines etc at the moment which is rather annoying as I can't go in on a random offchance and get something cool that nobody knows about!

Thanks.
