Put on your seat belt. It was the late 80's I think and Scott retired from the X-Men after Jean died and married basically a Jean clone (without knowing it). Their baby is Cable but he gets infected with the T.O. virus and they have to send him to the future to save his life/hide him. Then he comes back older than his father.

Maybe Cable's head will explode and everyone will be done with him. That X-Tinction thing sucked. Cable beating Cap? Yeah right.

Cable owns, period.

It is sad how they always have to find ways to tone done his powers (X-Man too).

I believe so, Cable was able to pull Cyclops to the Astral Plane to talk. I think he's fully healed and finally has full advantage of his power set, he's just in a coma.

after this event is over, im having to make a hard descision. With the quasi restart of titles after this event, Im putting it on the table whether or not to keep going and follow the new titles, or break off entirely, effectively quitting comics FOREVOR. Other than that is the monetary issue. I cant keep up with the prices and keeping up the MU/Transformers collecting at the same time. Im thinking a clean break will be the best for my bank account and the uncertain shift that Marvel will turn creatively.

ps: taking hickman away from fantastic four will ruin that book.

So true, his run has been gold. I will probably just stick with X-Force after all this pans out, assuming it's still there.

You never know some of the titles might improve. i would at least take a look or two at the new stuff before giving it all up. Some will be strange but some might be good. You never know not that I have much hope for the new Cap. It sounds like crap. he is stuck in a future where there is no America or anything he knows. Someone is reaching.

im getting out mostly cause of the money. Plus, i can set that money aside strictly for figures.

They are trying to bring her to the forefront. She is a good character that suffers from some unstable writing. Some of it is pretty good and then it goes up then down. I believe they figure that with a name change and a costume change she may draw new fans. The first issue was nice and the second has potential but I am not sure that is it keeps on the way it is that it may stay around long. I have high hopes and have added it to my pull. I think the "rebirth" and "death" or Mar-Vell was to get people hungering for something and they wanted Legacy, he is a Marvel Sacred Cow after all. I just hope they alter the costume a little but I have liked all of her costumes even the "classic" version.


But to tell you the truth I wish they would give Monica Rambeau the name back and her old costume. She was my favorite version. But support Carol and try the new series for a couple issues.

#11 and New Avengers came out this week. Will professor X die next issue? Killed by his own student? Im pissed that Emma's not dead. And Luke Cage just quit the Avengers. What is this, DC? He was the only minority on the Avengers, aside from the Falcon, but he never does anything anyways.

Yeah, book 11 was interesting...I dont get one thing. The intro starts with the big guy (spoiler) and then they use him in one stinking panel...

Scott needs to get his ass kicked, emma is still alive, and Luke quit....WTF?

Glad the restart is soon, so I can drop a bunch of books...

But I think 11 was overall good...a lot came to the top in it...

I thought #11 was pretty good. My favorite panel was Captain America blocking the optic blasts of Cyclops while protecting Professor X. I also liked Wolverine's line, "Throw me". I'm a little confused about the fate of a certain character. Seemed a little weird to me.

eh, most of this isnt going to matter after the end of avx...

I mean they are gonna restart most books too soon...I think I am gonna just choose to read what I like best...

Not digging the hack job they did to Cable in that cover. I like the roster but not their costumes. A bit too anime for a Marvel comic.
