I haven't read an X-Men comic in a long while, however I've been reading online that they're reverse whitewashing Psylocke back into a British woman (she was previously white before, so I don't even know if whitewashing is the proper term for this.)

That's actually the item I was trying not to spoil a few pages back but yeah. Now I want a future modern Psylocke. Actually I want an Australian Outback armored Psylocke, early 00's (before death) Psylocke, Uncanny X-Force Psylocke, and now this.

Its not whitewashing since before the whole mojo mindswapping 3people she WAS white...so shes just returning to her normal body. Maybe revanche can get her old body back. I liked revanche. Its funny cause bets got into kwannons body and kwannon was in betsys body. revamche took over the armored psylocke look for a while.

Actually I thought it was finally revealed that both of them were a mix of each other. Not just mind A in body B and mind B in body A. Though maybe they're reversed that.

I swear, Psylocke is my favorite character but I will be the first to admit that a detailed explanation of who she is ends up being more convoluted than just about any other Marvel character I can think of. Jean Grey included.

There has actually been some backlash against the rumours she might be put back in a white body, with people saying after this long Psylocke is Asian and should stay that way. Which seems reasonable.

Shit like that is just one reason i wont read solo issues or by single comics anymore. That and every 6 gotdamned months is yet another super convoluted, retconning, unverse tweaking crossover. Now its so bad theyre just reusing old crossovers. Combine that with the cost of a single damn comic ( more than a gallon of gas....WTF?! ) and nooooooo bueno.

I liked it much better when Venom came from an Intergalactic gumball machine.

All his statement reads to me is "I totally still want you to be surprised by my story even though the spoilers have completely spoiled it for you, so you already know the ending." I can understand why he'd try to do that though, casting doubt because the spoilers may make him feel a little empty at the "surprise" of his storyline.

if the art releases from Uncanny X-Men also didn't show Caucasian Psylocke I might take the rumors with a grain of salt. I honestly don't think Marvel cares enough to not spoil a story for the sake of promoting an even though.

If you ask me, Superman: The Movie is a goofy disaster. I was so on board with the Smallville scenes, they were great. Then Lex Luthor came in....

And the movie ended with Superman flying around the world to reverse time. Ffs.

Honest to god I think she is inseparable from that ethnicity. I've never even been familiar with the white version. I've only seen asian figures of her. Her representation in X-Men Apocalypse only furthered this. I think asians need more representation anyways.
