I'm only posting this link because I was told to post it here so you are informed better:

My Walmart finally showed evidence of Infinity War wave 2. But all there was was one Malekith. Man, I never find anything at Walmart. Like I don't think I ever have, ever. Might just have to get these figures online after all, as they don't seem to be appearing at Target which is where I find figures.

ShauntotheMaxx 08-21-2018 09:36 PM

Walmart has always been a bust for me. I don't think I've ever bought anything there. To be fair though they pretty much only carry the MCU Legends and I don't collect those.

Yeah my Walmart had remnants from the Cull Obsidian wave as well. Just Ant-Man and Malekith. I picked up Ant-Man. I was gonna pick up Malekith, but some asshole of course stole the BAF part right out of the packaging.

This problem is SERIOUSLY getting out of hand. Fortunately I already have the two rarest figures from the wave with Thor and Black Widow, so all I need is Malekith, Black Knight and Wasp.

Black Knight might be difficult to find for retail, but the other two should be alright.

I also found remnants of the Venom wave at Target. Just two Venoms and a Carnage. I want to get both (mainly for the unmasked heads), but I'm really looking for Typhoid Mary and Scream.

DarthKamen 08-21-2018 10:19 PM

After watching Deadpool 2, I want a Cable figure. In peoples opinion, which one is better Sasquatch wave or Juggernaut wave? I love them both design wise.

Easily the Sasquatch wave one.

Well I can't say that since both figures are technically equally good.

But the Sasquatch wave Cable is a design I much prefer over the more modern take.

DarthKamen 08-21-2018 11:03 PM

....I just bought both. XD

I can sell off whichever I like least...or not, I dunno. :p

MeLikeJinx 08-21-2018 11:17 PM

I just also watched Deadpool 2 and really liked it... it also made me like my Juggernaut wave Cable more than I did before since it kinda looks like the movie Cable (but not really) except without a cape. I still like my Deadpool wave Cable more though since I also really like the 90's New Mutants too. But the movie made me also like Domino a lot more.... but my boy Shatterstar didn't fare so well... Haha.

Also... does anyone know what is the exact color of blue on Psylocke's blue outfit... I gotta repaint/slightly touch up her leg stripes... so irritating.

EDIT: And yah... comic Wolverine's new black costume is horrible... kinda reminds me of the Apocalypse wave Magneto's costume a little bit.

hasbroherofan 08-21-2018 11:38 PM

It reminds me of Ultimate Wolverine's costume if it sucked.

SymbiSpidey 08-21-2018 11:48 PM

I also got the 10th Anniversary Mark VII Iron-Man and I have to say.....EASILY the best Marvel Legend Iron-Man ever made.......but mine is ever so slightly defective. The rubber crotch piece isn't properly aligned with the lower torso so it gives the appearance that his torso is slightly twisted.

He was pegwarming at my Target so I'm gonna see if I can run by there tomorrow to exchange it. If not, then I can still live with it.

Hell, the figure is so good that I almost want two, one to have with my MCU figures and another to stand with the comic book ones since Iron-Man is probably the MCU character that fits the best with the comic book characters (besides Black Widow possibly).

Rubber? The lower torso is rubber?

Fantastic. Since those two aren't expensive figures to get on the aftermarket, I may do that. Mind posting some more photos? Curious to see how the parts all match up, proportions-wise.

Sure thing! I'll post some when I get home tonight. I'm out all day. I have some WIP pics too that I can share.

All of this. That costume is not good.

I'm ready for my modern Psylocke NOW Hasbro.

She's ditched the Wolverine name and costume and is beginning to try and find her own personal identity in her new series, rather than being Wolverine OR X-23, since both of those have baggage and/or legacy attached to them that she wants to break away from. As far as I know, she's still a member of Jean's Red Team, though, along with Gabby/Honey Badger, who's also still in her book.

I've only read the first issue, but so far I'm enjoying it. Mariko Tamaki is handling her at least as well as Tom Taylor did.

On that, there's still a bit of confusion as to when the events of red take place. Obviously after Phoenix Resurrection (duh) but is it before or after the Hunt For Wolverine? What about the wedding of..well if you haven't read it let's just say the wedding. My guess is Red is before Hunt For Wolverine but I could be wrong. So the Wolverine moniker would still be accurate.

Oh lord. At this point I don't effin' care :D In bringing focus back to X-Men, Marvel ended up also bringing back all the continuity problems, chief of them being 'timeline of events' for concurrently running books.

And let's just... not talk about the wedding. In fact, aside from the new Pyro, let's just not talk about any of Marc Guggenheim's run. Please.

Incidentally, I'd love a figure of the new Pyro. Not as a replacement for classic Pyro (St. John still needs an updated figure), but I would like to see Simon get a figure before he drops off the radar. He's been an actually entertaining new addition to the X-Men.

I second every single bit of this.

Harbinger 08-22-2018 10:33 AM

Appearantly iceman and pyro ( the new one ) are bumpin uglies. Robby better becareful new pyro doesnt have a ....flare up?

hasbroherofan 08-22-2018 10:57 AM

New Pyro would be great.

Captain Nash 08-22-2018 11:04 AM

I had a thought on the upcoming X-wave earlier today. What if, since Mystique, Magik and Emma will all be done through Walgreens, we were to get Blink and JL Storm as two of THREE female characters, and they fit in Northstar and Aurora? We are seeing a pattern of 3.75 inch figures getting the legends treatment, and those two came at the end.

So the wave would look like:

Skullbuster
Blink
Gambit
JL Storm
Wolverine of some type (or if they take a break from him for one wave, Forge)
Aurora
Northstar
and possibly BAF Beast.

Despite the absence of a dearly wanted Nightcrawler I would find this to be an acceptable wave.
