Just thinking of what other 10th anniversary packs they could do (although they should probably rebrand the line as "The First 10 Years" or something like that).

I definitely want to see them do a proper MCU Iron Monger. And give us an all new mold, and not just reuse that gimmick figure from ages ago. Something roughly in-between the size of the Hulkbuster BAF and Gladiator Hulk. Then they can package it with a redone Mark III Iron-Man.

Then they could follow up with an Iron-Man 2 2-pack with War Machine and Whiplash (preferably in his convict outfit).

I'd also like for them to do an Abomination. And surprisingly enough, we STILL don't have a Heimdall. Maybe Idris Elba wouldn't allow his likeness to be used, but I can't imagine Marvel would have him sign a contract without being able to use his likeness.

That'd be really awesome.

It seems the Mandarin pack is sols out at Amazon. So...that's it them? That was all? :(

I did not think it was even due out until September. It will probably be back up closer to the release date. I find it hard to believe that it would be the ONLY First 10 Years set that was not produced like crazy. I mean those sets are EVERYWHERE now.

Though I'd prefer his 90s look. To me that's Hydro-Man

Black shirt Hydro-Man all the way.

DarthKamen 08-23-2018 10:17 AM

Just got 90s Cable in. It's so 90s! And that is good, overly muscular, giant guns and shoulder pads, just a fun figure.

Anyone need his BAF part?

The speculation is (and again, only speculation) from a recent Twitter post that Tom Holland recently wrote, talking about doing his own stunt work and how he was eager to face off against "new" villains. The video that was posted on the tweet showed him on a bridge being washed away by a giant wall of water, which is causing speculation that since he is teasing a new villain that we have never seen before, it may actually in fact be Hydro-man. All purely speculation again of course, however Holland has never been good at keeping a secret.

TheLegendMarvel 08-23-2018 12:25 PM

Hydor Man would make for some really cool SFX shots, idk how they would pull the character off. God I hope this movie doesn't become ASM2 or SM3 and have too many villains

hasbroherofan 08-23-2018 12:34 PM

Well, the post-credit scene of the first movie seemed to be hinting at the Sinister Six (Mac Gargan saying he has some special friends on the outside who would love to meet Spider-Man). I don't necessarily want that to be the case, but that may be what they're doing. Hopefully they don't overstuff the film though. There have been superhero movies that successfully pulled off multiple supervillains, but most seem to have trouble with it.

Congrats man! Thor is a badass figure. He’s the definitive Mcu Thor Figure imo.

I'd say there's a 25% chance it's Hydro Man, 75% chance it's just a Mysterio illusion (maybe trying to make Spidey think there's a tsunami and people are dying? No idea haha)

SymbiSpidey 08-23-2018 01:39 PM

I know Mysterio has been confirmed, and Chameleon has been heavily rumored.

Hydro Man is a definite possibility though. After all, Homecoming had 4 villains (Vulture, Tinkerer, Shocker and Scorpion), granted Scorpion was extremely minor.

That’s a good excuse to pick up that Sif pack haha. Isn’t that the same head? But just face printed this time.

If I remember correctly there was also some kind of leaked CG demo/test before that that had Spidey fighting Hydro-Man.

So since we're likely going to be getting a new Wolverine with the next X-Men wave, what would everybody be down for?

I would love to see them do Dark Wolverine/Daken maybe on the 2099 buck (Miguel O'Hara is supposed to be 5'10, Daken is 5'9 so....close enough) with swappable unmasked and masked heads. Outside of that, an updated X-Force or Astonishing costume would be appreciated.

My "totally not gonna happen in a million years" pick would be his look from X-Men Evolution because I've always really dug that costume.

Honestly id like that black n gold team x wolverine outfit.

jmurray90720 08-23-2018 04:38 PM

There are still a ton of Wolverine variants that need updates or first time figs.

First Appearance
Astonishing
Grant Morrison Era New X Men
X Force
X Men Evolution
Weapon X
Feral Wolverine
AoA Weapon X
Ultimate X Men
Street Clothes Logan
2018 awful costume

They are not going to run out of options for him anytime soon.

Like this?

Archangel 08-23-2018 04:46 PM

AoA, Draken, or Weapon-X would be my choice.

I bet it’s a X-Force Wolverine, easy repaint and money grab. I’ll have to start selling off some of my old collect after all these reissues.

Veronica Mars 08-23-2018 05:21 PM

I just picked up a couple of the new X-Men wave at gamestop and the guy who rang me up asked if I wanted to preorder the upcoming Mephisto figure? Has anyone heard anything about that?

That thing is bad ass! Is it the correct Wolverine height?

kylactus 08-23-2018 05:30 PM

They could do fang with alternate wolverine head
But my top six guesses are
1. Patch in waiter outfit. ( we got the head already with the rider series Logan.)
2. Albert, I know not super likely, but he is back in the comics, so.... maybe?
3. First appearance.( just a new head and brighter color scheme easy win for hasbro)
4. Logan, again just a single card release of the rider series.
5. AoA weapon X. eventually, and soon, the Jim Lee era well will run dry, so I’m thinking in the next 5 years AoA will be getting re dos, and for some first figures.
6. Hugh jackman wolverine. Now that That the mouse ate the Fox I’m guessing the X ban will be officially lifted. If Disney sees a buck in milking the residuals, or if hasbro now has open doors on that license I’d bet we get a decent Hugh-Verne soon... ya know before he’s recast for MCU and forgotten.

GameStop just won't quit. Glad to finally have these ladies and put the Wild Hunt on pause, even if it's only for the time being.
