Fortune 10-09-2011 01:09 AM

I just recently started collecting them and honestly I seem to be getting disheartened at almost every turn :(

Tiberius 10-09-2011 01:21 AM

Well, my gf just went home </3. Also took Steve Rogers with her <///////3. I cannot wait for this figure to show in the mail now, god damn!

vampireheart 10-09-2011 01:25 AM

How dare she take Rogers!! Next time distract her with a makeout session and then hide the figure then she'll leave all happy and forget the figure ::Mr Burns impression:: "Excellent"

Tiberius 10-09-2011 01:27 AM

I'm pretty sure I'd stay happy when all is said and done lol.

vampireheart 10-09-2011 01:37 AM

lol touche my friend

Tiberius 10-09-2011 01:38 AM

Seriously though, the figure is amazing. I had to pop off his legs, and shins though to make everything line up. It was pretty fun actually.

vampireheart 10-09-2011 01:40 AM

Yea i love the articulation on him...boy im glad im on a toy forum lol this is common speak

Do Boy 10-09-2011 07:22 AM

Yea those are cool and they have a nice selection but you can easily make these with some cardboard, an easy software program to manipulate the pictures and a decent printer. Id be more tempted if they were less than 20 shipped but shipping is 9 bucks so the total is 30 bucks for only one printed piece.

Do Boy 10-09-2011 11:23 AM

How much is the shipping? I didn't even look.

Edit. oh damn $9 shipping for a piece of cardboard

Yeah, just went through the motions. $9 is steep but I put 4 in the cart and it's still $9.00

So I will look through and grab a bunch of stuff to equalize the costs. They take PayPal too, so I'm really gonna be in trouble.:D

Wow those are really really nice. Just a bit too costly.

Tiberius 10-09-2011 12:07 PM

I wouldn't buy a display like that. I think have the fun would be collecting the pieces for your display, putting it all together, and going crazy.

bmorr 10-09-2011 12:36 PM

nice! except i could do that for free at my school. Print that image onto a tabloid sized sheet and use my schools ink lol. then mount it on foamcore and create a cardboard rooftop or something. but thanks for the link tho:)

LORD MARVEL 10-09-2011 12:48 PM

I need a display or playset for my figures.

I'll have to go see if they still have it!

How did you convince a gf to buy a figure? My wife doesn't like comics, let alone comic based figures.

Congrats man! Welcome to three months of no sleep. Nah, it's not that bad, they actually sleep all the time so you really don't see an impact on your free time as much until around 6 months or so. Then as soon as they can get around, you get really busy. Welcome to the cool dads club!

After Brock was abandoned by the Venom symbiote, his body created an antibody for the symbiote when he interacted with a new villain, Mr. Negative. Thus making him able to 'cure' or kill any symbiote or spider-like infection. He's been curing people of their spider-powers during the recent Spider Island story arc.

She likes Captain America a lot. So after giving her the run down on why is is dressed like that, she was like "hmmm, interesting". Then, I brought in my Cable figure, in which she adores the figure, and character. Told her that the articulation is is just as good or better, and on Toyark is voted one of the best figures to date. Autosold lol.
