Anyone else looking foreword to more AoA figures? At the very least Magneto (who is as simple as an alternate head), Rogue (once Jim Lee Storm comes out the countdown is on, the upper arms are perfect), Cyclops, Weapon X and Dark Beast are givens.

Well, just given that the recent Walgreens exclusives are almost always tied to a current movie or TV show (with the exception of the Fantastic Four), my guess is Illyana and Dani Moonstar were planned to cash in on the New Mutants movie before that got delayed until next year.

Got any close-up shots on Claire? I was torn on the sculpt in the stock photos, but I'd take even a 70% Rosario Dawson accuracy likeness, because damn. Carve that woman's face into every mountain.

After collecting MCU figures with just a few comic characters sprinkled in, I've decided to switch my focus to X Men characters...with a few other things sprinkled in like a MCU Thanos. This is a list of figures I'd like to get...when I can afford to buy them again. XD
Wolverine-Probably the Apocalypse wave version. Blue looks nicer than brown to me.
Storm-Apocalypse wave version. I like the design best.
Cyclops-Probably Warlock wave...though I'd love that Mezco one.
Dark Phoenix-I will track her down somehow.
Magneto-I'd love that black and white outfit but I'll settle for the black and red.
Psylocke-Revoltech. Though if I find that purple haired one I'd get it.
Xavier-I guess the Rider one?
Mystique-New one looks great.
Apocalypse-Apocalypse wave.
Juggernaut-Probably Select.

Nah! Don't worry too much on that. Generally if they make it this far and get shown off, they will be made. We just may see changes in the final designs. They each go back and forth to Marvel/Disney several times for approval at each design step. From what I have seen, strangely, the step that Disney is prone to make the biggest changes to and most stink over is color selection. They can bounce that back and forth for weeks before nailing down the precise colors that they want used. If they like the sculpt at the begining, it normally sails through pretty cleanly. Any changes there are typically production and engineering. Not normally licensor. Maybe a face change? These mostly look like they are in the paint and color approval stages.

I think we all know what happened to the J Lawrence Mystique. That fell victim to the feuding between Marvel and Fox. Those sorts of things are rare. And that specific impediment is no longer an issue.

Yes thing sget shown that don't always make it to production (or vanish for years) Bandai is notorious for it. But Hasbro doesn't typically do that with their Marvel stuff. This is one of their core bread and butter high margin lines. It displaces the factory time of other stuff. Probably even Star Wars at this point.

i'll snap a few tomorrow. Unfortunately...to me it is really not an accurate likeness at all...but that wasn't gonna stop me from owning it ..BUT...DAMN....they really should've nailed her likeness...that would have been dope.

I wish we could see Weapon X's headsculpt... I want an unmasked Logan headsculpt, but I don't really like the vintage head or the motorcycle non eye patch head. The eye patch head is nice, but it has an eye patch.

I already made the switch... the prices of the 10th anniversary figures did it for me. Plus, just thinking about having to spend 40 on Xavier and 30+ on the new Archangel makes me not want to buy any more MCU or Spiderverse figs. It's only X-men and my other fav non-mutant comic book characters I liked as a kid from here on out for me.

I NEED Jubilee to be in one of these X-Men series' soon.

Speaking of MCU figures, I'd love if we'd get Cloak and Dagger MCU figures. I know it's probably asking for too much since we just finally got Cloak and Dagger figures for the first time and I love them alot, but it'd be really cool to have MCU ones as well.

I don't think so, Dwight looked at me like i had 7 heads when I said the name "Dani Moonstar" as if he'd never heard that name. This is also funny because he named Gosamyr as the comic based Marvel Legend he most wanted, and she's a deep new mutants cut.

as for a new figure, you'd think so right? Kitty alone has all the parts and the least they could do is whip up a new head, throw in a Valkyrie headdress, a bow and you've got a solid Dani.

I've thought about doing a custom like that myself as the parts are all there but the skin tone would be the difficult part to pull off. I want it to be right.

Hopefully he's just playing coy but it certainly doesn't sound like it. Ugh. Of all the Walgreens rumors, I know she's the least confirmed, but she's also the one I'd want most, even more than the classic Mystique which is an instabuy myself.

If I need to convince everyone to buy a shitload of Emmas and Mystiques to get Dani done, I will try my best to do so!

As for New Mutants movie, I think I'm trying to get myself used to the fact it won't see a theatrical release, but will likely be a home release (Netflix maybe?). Which is a shame. The delays have really killed the anticipation. I know Dark Phoenix has also had delays but I'm still pumped about that one. I just hope that doesn't get delayed again or cancelled, and we get a damn trailer soon.
