New Jack City was a pretty amazing film. That film helped pave the careers for so many, from Wesley Snipes to Chris Rock, to Ice T.

Wesley's performance as Nino Brown was one of the most ruthless and charismatic gangsters ever in modern films.

Jaws 4 though did Mario no favors...I will admit.

I think it hhas. Bumblebee looks like a radical departure from everything that came before. Whether it is any good for all that remains to be seen of course.

John Boyega is already in the House of Mouse and is the right age and looks pretty badass in the fan art attached.

Snipes has my vote 110% !!!!

1. if you haven't watched Blade in awhile...do yourself a favor and watch it again. IT IS AS GOOD AS..AND BETTER THAN... HALF THE MCU MOVIES EASILY.

2. About his age.. well..he's only 3 years older than Robert Downey Jr.. AND.. I'm willing to bet he is STILL in better shape than 90-95% of the current MCUs cast.

3. I actually think they could play that in his favor and bring in a slightly older blade character that's "been around and been doing this for awhile"

Well, it's being directed by the guy who did Kubo & The Two Strings, and is being treated as a soft reboot to move away from the previous movies, so here's hoping. I'm more interested in it than I've been in any of the last few films, and I'm a pretty heavy TF fan.

But he can beat kaiju, so there's that.

I'm agreement that he might not be a good fit for Blade, though.

I agree in spirit about Boyega, as I'm Snipes all the way. I just think Boyega is more realistic in terms of casting. Yes, Snipes is in great shape for his age and embodies the role 100%, but I would imagine they would be looking for somebody to take the role into the next 10 years or so. Snipes going that distance is a big stretch.

Erik King would be my personal choice. I just realized he's pretty much the same age as Snipes though damn!

I kinda liked the Gabrielle Union one, it was pretty generic but it wasn't the worst movie I've seen recently, that honor goes to A Quiet Place

I have watched the first one more recently, and sure, it's good, but the only MCU films I would say it is better than are Thor 2, Iron Man 2, IM3, and Avengers 2.
