Oh I don't get my hopes up too much these days. Hasbro has not failed to disappoint in my wishlist the last few years, with a very few exceptions. And that's mostly been MU/MI not ML. The SDCC exclusives and 90's Jean Grey have pretty much been the only ML exceptions....but I digress. I just mentioned Madrox because at one point, there was one prototype figure made and I'd love to see it done for retail.

If they follow protocol with figures and movies X-Force has a movie scheduled in 2016. Maybe a good run of comic figures will come from that movie also. Here's hoping.

That and if they do make them, distribution has been sucking butt lately.

You must be in the same area as me. I know the Toy Wiz dudes, and yes, I have suffered at their need to buy everything up. They are nice enough people but they buy excessive amounts of stuff. I understand what it takes to run a business, but it does suck for me and people in my boat.

Yeah I don't even rely on retail distribution anymore.

I guess I was a little too fast at my limited non-disappointments for ML. I forgot we got the awesome Viper and Madame Masque what two years ago? The latter of which, ironically, was one of my very rare finds at retail.

Haha I actually found those passed up on those, then wanted them, luckily I was able to get Viper when they hit discount stores:P

Oh, I've been a fan of Rocket and Groot since Annihilation (my intro to them). That's why I'm most keen to pick up Rocket before any of the others (which I've had multiple opportunities to do at this point). I probably won't even care if he's basically a painted brick.

I still enjoy the MU version, after all. ;)

Sweet haul. Every time I see the X Men Legends I get jealous. I tracked down Storm and her BAF piece seperately from two different members of another forum for what made it $30 shipped. I dont care about the packaging so it was a bargain compared to the $50 others have been asking. Now I stalk the mailman.

It's really strange with Rocket. Some people have seen him numerous times. Others like you and I have never seen him at retail. I hate to say it but unless you just happen to luck out, shopping online is about the only way you might have a shot at him. I constantly watch Amazon to see when they restock and have actually gotten stuff for a decent price. So far my Nova, Carnage and Black Cat from Amazon have all appeared to be in great shape (minus some box damage but I'm not a MIB collector). Granted they have not been opened yet.


The issue is that Hasbro still thinks that they have to pack the "popular" characters more than one to a case because there is an apparent thought that those are the ones that will sell. It stems from the belief that kids will want the popular figure and that's what they will want their parents to buy. Sadly, what they fail to realize is that Legends is primarily a collector market. While there will always be fans of the characters, how many of us really want our 10th Iron Man or Wolverine, etc?

The biggest trick is even getting a ticket.

Hello, everyone. I agree with most of the posts on the point that the ML Emma Frost figure is a very hard to find...I have been looking for her forever. And, I think, the price for the new ML Emma Frost figure is not going down any time soon. Most of the recent and popular ML action figures such as (1) Emma Frost, (2) Carnage, (3 and 4) AIM and Hydra soldiers, and (5) Black Widow seem to be sold online mostly and not in retail stores...I have taken many of trips to the local retail store only to find the leftover (Eletros!) from vultures (Scalpers and Store Employees) or nothing at all! So, the online option has been the my only avenue ,of late, to get the popular figures from the recent waves, and this options helps me save on gas, which is more money to maybe put towards another action figure when I do order online. But, sometimes, I do miss taking a drive to local retail stores in my area and finding at least one variant figure and others from a wave after the trip...For now, I guess that thrill is gone.

I never knew about Magik, and after a quick google search I found the digital sculpt from the SDCC panel.

A sign of another X themed wave to come? They seem to be sticking to themes these days.

I'm ok with the themed waves. I would welcome some more X-Men characters. If what they showed off at SDCC is any indication, we might get some obscure characters. I mean, they're doing a Machine Man, that's pretty awesome!

I'm ok with themed waves too, especially if there is an appropriate BAF involved.

If there's no BAF, then mix-and-match waves are great since I can cherry-pick the ones I actually want without fear of having an incomplete BAF.

I hope I don't have to resort to that, but my hopes are dwindling each day. :(

The themed wave I want is the Inhumans with an obvious BAF of Lockjaw. Between the release of Black Bolt and Medusa at SDCC and the repeated calls for this wave and BAF on websites, I can't imagine that the set is very far away....

I like classic anything. While I like my SDCC Medusa, I was a little disappointed by the lack of hair-extensions (lol this being a much different connotation than its meaning in my neighborhood). Making a classic version might provide the opportunity to get the accessories we didn't get with the SDCC version.

Heck yeah I was stoke seeing that! I was hoping they would make them, and I got my wish, just hoping they go through with the entire project. I don't mind themes as well.


Are you looking for Rocket? If I see him I'll grab him for you. I as well have been cherry picking certain figures, and don't really care for the BAF's so it's been nice.

I had same problem. I never seen rocket so I bought a loose rocket for 20 bucks on ebay. Yesterday I found one at stores lol.
