Oh well I guess it was used as the variant cover then, that's kind of unique that they just pulled interior panel art from the comic to double as a variant cover too. Whoever makes those decisions was just like "this image is so badass we're gonna use it twice."

Yup the same big blue Kree fanatic with his "justice" bringing hammer. During the DnA cosmic run Ronan went through a shift in attitude towards anti-hero from his more villainous tendencies after the devastation left by Annihilation forced him to find value in other life beyond the Kree, or at least tolerate them for cooperation. Hasbro did give us a Ronan BAF back when their Legends were more or less fresh, with all of their upgrades though I think just a new comic Ronan would be appreciated and with him appearing in the Captain Marvel movie Hasbro has an excuse to give us one.

Was it ever actually up for sale? Amazon tends to put things up and just list them as unavailable until they start preorders.

With the heavily rumored Classic Ms. Marvel w/ Moonstone head that's the minimum for a full wave (and typically solo MCU debuts only get six figures per wave).

Supposedly it was in stock for a short time this morning and people were able to order it.

When Dorkside had the wave up for preorder this morning (it’s been taken down since) they showed 5 movie figures and 2 comic figures in the case of 7. I didn’t look to see what the break down for the case of 8 but I would imagine that Carol will be double packed.

Anyone have Cull obsidian legs or right arm they’d be willing to part with? Wave is impossible to find in my area.

Or possibly a Luke Cage Claire two pack? Hahaha

Well that's dumb. Is it true that the price was really $100? If so, that seems over priced and I'm surprised people bought them all then. Guess we'll just have to wait for the restock to know for sure.

The Hasbro sculpt almost has an expression on it. That's what makes it off putting compared to the actress.

Boy...all this Captain Marvel stuff, from the toys to the trailer is blah....

Not going to say this one's going to bomb, as it most likely won't once the Marvel media hype machine gets going...but there was NOTHING in that trailer, or this line of Legends (outside the new Sam Jackson figure) that was even remotely exciting. Brie Larson delivered her lines with the enthusiasm of sex crazed teenager being dragged to a church function on a Saturday night....as if she were bored and wanting to be somewhere else.

Marvel can only catch lightning in a bottle so many times, and one of these films will inevitably under-perform. Time will tell if it turns out to be this one.

Since I already had the SDCC Luke Cage, I had no real interest in nabbing the two pack for him, however I was able to nab a Claire loose for under 20 bucks on Ebay, so here goes...

Claire Temple: While she's not my favorite character (I admittedly hate Karen Page much more, and can only hope she has a run in with Bullseye in DD:S3) I picked up this figure as she's a much needed member of the Defenders cast, and I'm a sucker for civilian body molds. Claire impresses me on this level, as I thought the top would be re-used, when it is in fact an all new sculpt, including the lower torso, which really left me surprised. The face is pretty, and the face print is strong, but as many as mentioned, this is not Rosario Dawson. It actually looks like a certain adult entertainer to me, but I'll keep that one to myself. The accessories are nice, and the ninja claws can be used on the Netflix Elektra, so double thumbs up there, although I wish she came with an actual medical bag (like the one the Walking Dead Carl figure came with) as opposed to the Mary Jane purse.

About the only gripe I can think of is those hideous basic legends female feet. Would it have hurt for Hasbro to sculpt some actual shoes, heels, or sandals, the way they did for Danny and Colleen? I'm glad that they didn't reuse the JJ boots again, but those zapatos that she's sporting are no bueno. The head also sits a little high on the neck, I dremeled mine out a bit for the photos I took here.

All in all, a good figure. Not one that I thought we necessarily needed, but since you get Luke along with her if you pick up the two pack, she makes a good consolation prize.

I could not disagree more. I haven't been this excited by a Marvel trailer since Thor Ragnarok. The mohawk helmet scene, the scenes of her getting knocked down, getting back up though her life, becoming a fighter pilot, the scene of her flaming up etc. so much great imagery. It really indicated that the film gets the essence of the character, understands what drives her and I'm incredibly excited for this film, and the Marvel Legends for it.

Preordered the Wolverine and Sentinel Set this morning for $66.58 after tax using rewards.

How much was it before rewards? And did you preorder it from Amazon, or elsewhere? I remember hearing something about it also becoming a Target exclusive...

This is one of the main reasons I'm excited for this service. This also means there's potential for more figures along with more great story telling.

I hope we get a swimsuit scene in scarlett witch...giggity.
