I'm hoping this turns out to be like the Black Widow Infinity War figure where the promo images were "eh", but the in hand figure is one of the best female figures ever made. I really like how Hasbro has done Captain Marvel's costume, so an improved face sculpt would make this top notch.

Hopefully the mcu danvers unmasked headsculpt gets retooled cause she kinda looks like jay leno in a bad wig.

Yeah I said the same thing a couple posts back. Because that face showing of IW Black Widow looked rough to say the least which was extremely disappointing since she’s easily one of my favorite characters overall. But the actual released figure has if not the best definitely one of the best MCU Figure Likenesses. Like you said Everything else on the figure looks excellent love the suit. I think Hasbro will fix it between now and the actual release. Even if they don’t I’m still gonna end up picking it up haha because im a sucker for all Mcu figs

The Captain Marvel movie figures look good. I've said it before but I tend not to buy movie stuff. But the BAF, yeah I'll want one. I was thinking about trying to army build him, but I feel like heroes have only really fought them 1 at a time.

Well, with no sign of them in stores yet around here, I did what I never thought I would and bought the Walgreens Silver Surfer at my local comic shop for $40. I did have a 10% off coupon, so I got $9 off my full order. I was really hoping to hold off and find it for regular price, but seeing it on the shelf I couldn’t help myself lol.

Hopefully Thing will be easier to find lol.

I watched the teaser last night and I am very excited to see a movie about a character I have very little knowledge about. I felt like knowing Black Panther and his foes made me enjoy BP more and I will say I am slightly worried that I will not be able to piece together some of the stuff they may present in Ms. Marvel.

For instance when M'Baku enters the movie with his tribe and challenges BP I seriously had chills and actually wanted him to win (I enjoy the hero becoming the underdog and fighting thier way back to glory). Those type of moments were so well done in BP and basically pulled directly from the source material. So if they pull similar moves with Ms. Marvel I may not grasp the magnitude of them until later, if that makes any sense.

Either way I will continue to grow my MCU collection and that is a plus for me.

This year marks the first year that I have not actively tried to complete every BAF. I want Monster Venom and Sauron, but I have no desire for 90% of the figures in those waves. I did pick up Bishop and Omega Red like any good X-Fan would, and I also picked up Scream to complete all the symbiotes that have released so far, but I have passed on every other figure in those waves. I did not care to complete sasquatch because I do not plan to assemble Alpha Flight. I picked up Doc Ock and Electra but did not have any desire to build SP//dr <-- whatever the hell that is...

That's how they get you on the BAFs though. put weak waves with a strong BAF (Kingpin, Sauron, Okoye, Hulkbuster) or a weak BAF with a strong wave. (Titus, Sp/Dr). At least the main X-men waves have been strong on both.
