I'd call it quite strong as well. But that's mostly because I really don't care all that much about the remaining 70s X-Men, other than perhaps FA Storm.

I'm not the biggest fan of all of those characters, but they're fan-favorites (well except for Skullbuster) so I can't argue that a lot of people won't be happy with this assortment.

And I get that 90s isn't everybody's cup of tea, but they're undeniably the most popular era for the X-Men so it makes sense Hasbro would target that first and foremost. I think we'll see more 70s/80s stuff after Hasbro knocks out a few more 90s releases.

Translation for “wanting more 70s” X-Men is just “I want FA Storm” tho. :D

I kid we also do need classic Colossus, and Nightcrawler.

The good thing about those two is they can basically fit into almost any era outside of 2000s.

SymbiSpidey 10-04-2018 05:00 PM

Is this it for NYCC reveals? Couldn't find anything online regarding a Legends panel from Hasbro.

Jeddostotle7 10-04-2018 05:15 PM

Really impressed with all these reveals. Glad to have another opportunity to get Arnim Zola, but now I'm gonna need to get another Captain America so I can have a permanent display of Cap kicking Hydra Cap's ass.

I feel like I remember someone saying there'd be even more reveals tomorrow, though I'm not sure through what avenue.

I’m totally expecting firestar. Because I need a dose of dissapointment on a Friday.

Harbinger 10-04-2018 05:36 PM

I wish the “captain” suit had a red n white chest symbol instead of just all black. Maybe when john walker gets the suit it will

fredotl 10-04-2018 05:50 PM

Im very pleased with the lineup seen today. 90s Xmen are my personal choice but I like FA versions also. I hope we get more AOA figures after Blink comes out.

I hope we get a Nimrod eventually. Id like an Erik the Red also, super random. lol

I want an xfactor blue and yellow havok. And erik the red, awesome idea. How about ahab and sinsear and cyber as well.

Captain Nash 10-04-2018 05:57 PM

Oh are we doing random x-characters? I want Ahab and abyss. Also nowhere near as obscure but Exodus is knocking on the door of my top 10 never done before wants.

Preach bubba!!

hasbroherofan 10-04-2018 06:05 PM

I'll second the requests for Nimrod. Silver Samurai too. There are a decent number of X-Men villains we still need.

Is Caliban on a reused body, or is that new? Jubilee looks great!

Harbinger 10-04-2018 06:17 PM

And while not really xmen related.....we need an updated union jack!

I’d still like to get a Baron Blood, though he’s not on my want list or anything.

Panther 10-04-2018 08:04 PM

All of the reveals today look great, but the only two I'm interested in are Corvus Glaive and Ebony Maw. Easy, Easy, EASY buys.

Don't get me wrong, I like the 90s stuff as I am a huge fan of the cartoon from then. They did pretty good adaptations to some of the best X-Men stories out there and Season 2 had the most kick ass ongoing arc that dealt with Charles and Magneto stuck in the Savage Land.

It's just that I'd like to see more diversity in the eras. Sure, Forge can work as an 80s figure, since he and Mohawk Storm had a thing (before she somehow lost her powers), but I'd like to see a better balance.

I mean, in the last waves we've gotten Phoenix, brown Wolverine, and Sunfire for the Claremont/Byrne/Cockrum era, but then we've gotten Cyclops, Rogue, Psylocke, Bishop, Cable, and tiger stripe Wolverine for the Jim Lee/cartoon era.

With this new wave, that means we now have Storm, Gambit, Jubilee added to the Lee era while we have nothing for the CBC stuff.

If they would just announce a Giant Sized box set I wouldn't care what they did in the rest of the waves (well almost).

Well those and Banshee, Cockrum Wolverine, Thunderbird, the rest of Alpha Flight from that period, Moira, Lilandra, not to mention all of the villains like Black Tom, Proteus, Blob, Pyro, Destiny, Toad, Avalanche, Erik the Red, Lady Deathbird, Count Nefaria, White Queen, Mastermind, Shaw, Leland, etc.

Well, to be fair, if we're talking 70s/80s era X-Men and related characters (not necessarily all Claremont/Byrne/Cockrum) we've got Cyclops, Brown Wolverine, Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, Punk Storm, Dazzler, Days of Future Past Wolverine + Sentinel, Sunfire, Guardian and Sasquatch. You've also got Warlock on the New Mutants side of things as well.

Admittedly, I would like to see some more of those classic 70s/80s X-Men though. It's a shame that the only Banshee we have is utter garbage.

Augustus_Cole 10-05-2018 03:27 AM

saw a nice sparkly white loose Future Foundation Spider-Man at the con yesterday. Dude wanted 50.00 and wouldn't budge on price. As bad as I wanted it, I just wasn't feeling dropping that much on it.

Also was "thiiiiiiiiis" close to purchasing a Beta Ray Bill but in my mind i said...pffft..They probably re-release this sometime soon anyway....and two hours later to my surprise.........

Mainly a combination of I only got into collecting 3 years ago and I've usually been preeetty tight on money until pretty recently, so I sold the Red Onslaught Wave Cap when the Vintage Wave was announced.

Waitaminute... maybe I do have an extra Vintage Wave Cap? Oh wait, damn, that's the one with two left shins.

I still have my toybiz version and ill be sticking with it until a classic looking beta is releases. His modern version is just kinda bland looking.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Dazzler, but I really didn't mention Cyclops since he was in the two pack with Dark Phoenix. I was mostly just talking about the normal wave releases. However, Punk Storm and Warlock were after Byrne and Cockrum.

Oh, I also forgot Arcade and Mesmero for the 70s dudes. As for 80s, definitely sign me up for the Brood.
