Yeah those Hydra madames don't look so hot... but after a few drinks...

You'll be drunk enough to buy them anyway.

I'm just not that drunk yet... or at all.

Picked up Madam Hydra for a buddy of mine today. I'd pick up a Madam Masque if I came across her at retail.

Also picked up the Avengers 6" Iron Man figure.

Seems a bit of a cop-out just repainting the MK VI to me. They should have sculpted a MK VII for this line.

I promised I post my...modest...Iron Man collection once I got stateside.

I figure instead of posting it a bunch of times in the threads that interested people might frequent, I'd just link it to the Collections section here.

Still would of liked to see the wrist claw on the figure. Sigh.

evilanimation 07-06-2012 07:54 PM

Have to say i am very sad to see the cheap plastic used on the Legends Hulk, great looking figure the plastic is so soft, his head can be squeezed like the original TMNT figures heads, (Ok not that easy but you get my point that you should not be able to squeeze the head at all) but with all that said, he looks really good.

Buy it. NOW.

Got my first "older" Legends figure (series 13 Pyro) today and after a few minutes of posing him, his hip snapped right off. Is this common in the older figures? The peg holding the ball joint on seems small as hell for the amount of pressure it takes to actually move it around. If so, I'll be sticking to 2012 series and up.

I am a ML collector and can say that this is not the case with all older ML. I have to ask did you get it loose or MOC? I ask because Pyro came from the Onslaught wave released back in 2006, If he was MOC and you just opened him, there's always a chance a joint or limb could snap as the figure has never been touched and has been sitting in the package for 6+ years, stiffness is going to happen. No different then buying a car, letting it sit for 6 years then expect to jump in it and go 100mph. Some of the older figures are less forgiving with their "breaking points" then say the newer lines. The more a figure is played/posed the looser the joints become but the threat of damaging/snapping a piece is less likely due to the wear, but wear also means paint loss/rubbing, and as mentioned loose joints. Unless you want specific figures only from the older waves or want moc, I suggest buying loose lots from collectors and or arkers on here.

checkout ebay seller steve282805 he has 3-4 skrull figures from the F4 line, including flameon, super skrull, clear variant, they fetch decent money $20+ each typically.

LMFAO! I though I was the only person who thought that!

itMFtis 07-07-2012 05:23 AM

Very interesting, Behindthemask. It was MoC (as you know that's how I prefer them) so your explanation definitely applies to what I observed.

So it's a bit of a known issue? I noticed Longshot and Lady Deathstrike are generally on the cheaper end of Legends too. Are they also prone to breakage?
