I think that caption might be mistaken, which is understandable in this case given the amount of stuff that needs to be photographed and uploaded. And I'm sorry if I came off as rude or anything, there was genuinely no malice intended in my correction. I just think it's good to clear something up ans get everyone on the same page.

I agree. If you really look at Blade from the movies compared to this one you can see there's major differences. The first being no armor vest and just a shirt under the coat. This is definitely not Wesley Snipes Blade

Mezco's Toy Fair "exclusive" was the Ascending Knight Batman. It was described as the Ascending Dark Knight so I'm not sure if it was the all black version or something else. Check out the end of the video.

I agree with you. Seems like it is probably their take on the comics version—no chest armor being a big giveaway. And unless they’ve had it in the pipe for awhile, their likenesses have been pretty accurate lately. I also think the caption is wrong. Haven’t seen anything official from Mezco saying it was a movie version.

I doubt you'll see a lot of NYTF exclusive Batman figures on eBay. Most of the people who received one would be toy reviewers who would keep the ADK exclusive in their respective collections. The people selling them probably just see this as an opportunity and don't really care about the figure.

And it's not unheard of for an action figure to go for $4,000+ when fans are really passionate about a line. Back when Justice League Unlimited was still on the air, Mattel (in their infinite dickery) made a JLU Hal Jordan Green Lantern to give the animation department at WB for their hard work. Since Mattel never made a Hal Jordan Green Lantern, some of the employees made a few thousand dollars on eBay by selling their exclusive Green Lantern figures.

With all these new releases (several of which just aren't for me) and these exclusives that are for me that I can never have, Mezco seems to be going out of their way to loose a customer.

Got Arsenal in today. Got him off eBay for $60 with free shipping and as far as I can tell he's never even been opened so I'm pretty stoked about that. Also I haven't been charged for my Spider-Man from BBTS either. I'm thinking tomorrow, if not today still. Maybe hoping and not thinking :P

Stay with them Roland, they are the best out there right now, dont worry about the All Black Bats, it may be offered down the road, due to the price spike, the Black and Grey Standard Release will be just as good!

I've been seeing Zoom a few times around that $60 range but haven't pulled the trigger on it. I have the Mafex Harley right now...been contemplating going for Mezco if the price were just right like you said. But I've heard nothing but good about the Figuarts one and I might end up going that route ultimately because I've been looking at my Mafex...and I dislike it more and more as I look at it


Spider-Man just dropped in my Pile of Loot

I canceled my order. After looking more and more, I cant get this Spidey. I love the one:12 line, but to me, with the fabric and everything, i feel it will crease over time if i have him in some spidey poses. I'm still getting the movie one, and thinking of getting the PX exclusive instead. I don't see anything bad happening to that spidey's suit. I have almost every Marvel Legends Spidey, so i am a huge fan, but after watching some reviews, I cant do it. Let me know how you guys like him when you get him. Maybe I'll change my mind.
