TDK Catwoman and the Batpod arrived today, and I was quite surprised by the Catwoman figure. Was completely not expecting the thigh/boot cut, and she sits nicely on the pod. If you have a previous Bale Batman figure, he too works with it, even if he doesn't have the proper hands to grip the handles.

The Mattel is so much smoother & a better scale than McFarlane stuff…

I still don’t understand why the Azbat was an exclusive. I never stood a chance at getting that. The colors were off anyway, so why not redo? I also don’t really see this as the “Knightfall Batman” he seems to have the blue color scheme thru most of Knightfall. Getting to be a better sculpt, tho. All the Batmans McFarlane does & I haven’t been interested in buying one.

Haven’t liked any of his Superman either. Really disappointed in the Superboy—so close to being Return of Superman arc version, but makes it just weird enough to disappoint, including the scale & 5-o’clock shadow. But scale seems to elude McFarlane, his Grod was terrible.
Hoping for Matrix Supergirl, that was the best Supergirl design.

Sucks they're releasing Wally on the super outdated lanky body from the original Flash. I know it is or at one point WAS highly sought after and going for a pretty penny but I assumed the Flashpoint Flash figure put that to rest. Oh well! Always nice to see new figures I have no intention of buying for once!

Outdated for today but man that DC run was epic. I have every figure except the wonder twins and Red Robin. It’s like super powers from the 80s, they just hit that nostalgia bone and damn they are sexy…..though never as sexy as Todd’s stuff.

It may go in and out as they find more stock. That happens sometimes. I believe the fact the platinum catwoman is so difficult to obtain made this version sell out at this time. I’ll tell you, I know treat mcfarlane toy store exclusives like a mattel creations exclusive. If I want it, I preorder within minutes of going up. The DC film figures seem to be the “thing” right now.

I believe that one was technically supposed to be a retro-modern version of Superboy wearing a slightly modified version of his old costume. And strictly speaking, male "teen" characters really shouldn't be drawn as short as they often tend to be in comics, unless the intent is for the character to be a Daniel Radcliffe-esque stump as an adult as well.

Magic 8-Ball says "unlikely" (particularly given that Hasbro themselves are starting to move away from thigh-cuts in favour of McFarlane-style hip-rotators).

My BvS Batman arrived today. I swapped out the neck barbell joint for a shorter one and it really improved the figure. The head sits lower and looks more natural. Also, the head was pinched out of package due to being mostly hollow. Warming it up and having the neck go up inside of the head helped return it to its natural shape. The head now has a better likeness to Batfleck.

The fuck is that ugly ass thing? No one would pay for that by choice.

I ordered 2 sets. If you get a Platinum, I'd gladly trade for it. (If I don't get one)
