Glad to help. As I mentioned prior, it took several tries to come up with a configuration that stable.

Captain Nash 10-28-2018 04:55 PM

I guess Jim Lee Storm is coming in 2020 after all. Which is what I initially expected based on their color questions, but still, I got my hopes up.

Of course, one color could come in the Vintage wave and the other in the 2020 wave.

I normally hate to think this far ahead but I'm expecting the 2020 wave to at least include Mr Sinister, Jim Lee Storm and Nightcrawler. Getting those done will finish the major X-Men and villains except for a FA Storm, which they're not going to put two Storms in one wave. Maybe she will be a Walgreens exclusive for 2020?

Incredible!

I’m going to have to pawn off my Select Beast now.

Struggler 10-28-2018 05:38 PM

I just hope 90's x-force and x-factor are coming soon.

Is it possible that Wendigo is the BAF for an Avengers wave?

kylactus 10-28-2018 07:30 PM

Has the wendigo interacted with the avengers... ever? But then again Sasquatch found himself in the Deadpool wave, so I’d vote possible. But I’m still holding out hope for a wolverine wave. You think Disney went through all that shit to get the x men to shelve wolverine!

hasbroherofan 10-28-2018 08:36 PM

Wendigo is likely the BAF of whichever wave has Guardian in it.

He was killed off in a New Avengers issue forever ago, if that counts.

Sasquatch was literally the first character (nameless South American revolutionaries don’t count) whom Deadpool interacted with in Deadpool #1.

All I want is a Giant Size X-Men box set. Come on Hasbro.

I can understand being annoyed by over-reusing molds, but honestly, for Citizen V, the reuse makes perfect sense.

hasbroherofan 10-28-2018 11:56 PM

I honestly don't mind parts reuses when it's for characters whose costumes are mostly flat and devoid of texture.

A season 3 Daredevil with the Muay Thai knots and an alternate head would pair well with it. Of course for a comic figure they could finally give us Mr. Knight. This wave would also provide Netflix Luke Cage with a single release opportunity.

I definitely want another Marvel Knights wave but I wouldn't put Kingpin in it. I appreciate D'Onofrio's performance as Kingpin but I'm going to use the BAF as my MCU Wilson Fisk. To me, Kingpin isn't just a fairly big guy. He needs to look like a freak of nature.
I'd also leave out Luke. He's had two releases just in the past few months.

I also wouldn’t say no to a misty or Alice eve Typhoid Mary

Now I would like to see black suit daredevil and Misty. I'd also be happy to get Typhoid but has she developed a signature look yet. She wore a black hoodie a lot but that's not the most exciting costume.
Two others I'd like to see are Danny in the green sweats and Punisher without the trench coat.

I use a variety. I bought some knock-off Tamashi flight stands from Ali Express. They were cheap but they can't hold figures up in the air so they almost feel like a waste of money. I actually found a bent coat hanger gets the job done for a number of flight poses.
For ground posing, I use stands from a company called Lil Marauders. You can find them on ebay. Each stand has two different peg sizes. The stands also connect together like a jigsaw puzzle which helps support the figures.
I also use Sticky Tac on a number of figures. It's nearly invisible compared to traditional stands. It's also incredibly cheap. For around $3, I can get enough of the stuff to pose hundreds of figures. Only downside, it doesn't always remove cleanly from the bottom of the figure's feet (particularly characters who have shoes with treads).

I can vouch for the Marauders stands. I use them at times for legends figures in static poses. They also work great with my three and three quarter inch stuff.

I saw that. It's good for the movie look. Comic wise, he's very close to the Thing's coloring. I would hope Hasbro comes along with the easy remold. It's just a new head and a harness thing.

I was talking to a friend of mine regarding stands yesterday. He uses stands for vintage G.I.Joes from smalljoes.com for his Legends. He swears by them. Apparently, they are tapered an can work on a range of figures, females all the way up to BAFs. I am in need of some so I'll let you know how they work out.

Captain Nash 10-29-2018 10:54 AM

So I'm reading, and this may have been covered already, that the SA Spiderman and Puma were put out at London mistakenly and they were supposed to be the Italy reveals :( THere goes hope for Count Nefaria.

Still, there's quite a lot of awesome about next year. Aside from the mostly disappointing (to me) Kingpin wave that has an awesome Kingpin, and my grumbles out the rollouts for the Wendigo wave, there is a ton of awesome stuff coming out. Even if, outside of the rumored Moonstar, none of it was in my top 10. Even if I'd rather have seen Nightcrawler than Beast. Even if Jim Lee Storm is 2020. Even with all of that, there's so much awesome for next year.

I should clarify on my Beast comment. He looks awesome Hasbro did manage to steamroll over Toy Biz's beast. I just felt that TB Beast held up better than TB Nightcrawler, which is why I was wanting Nightcrawler done first. Along with the fact that I like Nightcrawler a whole lot more than Beast.

Starlord67 10-29-2018 11:00 AM

I am hoping a GS X-MEN set is in the works and we'll get Nightcrawler there.

I'm actually wondering now if we will. I could see FA Storm being part of the Walgreens exclusives, and classic Colossus being part of the Vintage line. All that would be left we would really need (IMO of course) is Nightcrawler and Banshee. Nightcrawler will almost certainly show up in the 2020 wave as he's one of the few big names left for Hasbro to do. and having a set just so we could get Banshee isn't that high of a sales point.

Of course, that's all speculation. if they were to put out a GSXM set next year I'd be all over that it.

Don't forget Thunderbird!

I didn't. Ha.:p Hence the "IMO". Though I totally understand if others want him.

(This wasn't meant to be snippy/snappy or anything more humorous. Tone is so hard to convey with text only.)

I don't think Colossus would be made for a vintage X-Men wave since the regular vintage waves have primarily reused old sculpts. A classic Colossus would need new tooling for his legs, upper torso, and wrist bands.

That could well be. I don't know if Hasbro would fudge it and just repaint the one we got with the Warlock wave. I don't disagree ideally he should have all of that though.

Going to that vintage wave, maybe we'll get classic iceman (from the Silver Surfer) instead. I was assuming that we'd see JL Jean, JL Storm (in the first of two colors released) some Wolverine, some Cyclops (maybe X-Factor) and some version of Magneto. With the other being a needed classic look of an already done but not classic style, Iceman and Colossus were the most likely I could think of.

I just really don't need another Wolverine or Cyclops

Cyclops I’ll probably never get tired of. But i totally agree with you on Wolverine. I have enough of that guy. They’ve what released like 8-10 figs of him in the past year and a half.

I’m still waiting on a good Iceman and Angel figure.
