We may as well get used to it. I for one would be fine with no more Wolverines, Captain AMericas, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Deadpool, and once we get classic of them, Thor and Hulk. And I'll be honest Black Widow is getting the same way. But Hasbro has to include one of those tentpole characters in a wave (almost always, there are exceptions I am sure) because they have to treat each wave as if it is somebody's first, which to be fair, it likely is.

Ironman i grant an exception cause the dude has more armors thqn all of the medieval time period, though hasbro must hate the silver centurion armors cause they have yet make an updated comic armor wars silver centurion or even an iron man 3 silver centurion! Actually,; yeah I forgot about SC Iron Man. I would take that. and then after that I would not need another Iron Man ever. I also forgot we don't need any more Star Lords ever and unless he changes his costume significantly any more Black Panthers either. But that's not going to happen.

On an unrelated note: I'm underwhelmed by the fact that the Captain Marvel wave has one female figure? No Moonstone, Dr. Minerva or alternate version or Carol aside from movie Captain Marvel? I even thought there was a rumor for a Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel? It's a cherry picker of a wave that's for sure.

Ditto. I really hoped to see a rerelease of her Warbird Ms Marvel costume. I never got that Target 3 pack, wasn't collecting Legends at the time. Deathbird would be awesome. Maybe classic Ms Marvel or Binary. Plenty of options.

Well, we're getting a Classic Ms. Marvel (Carol) that has an alternate Dark Ms. Marvel (Karla) head (again, according to Rek and many other rumour sources), and iirc there's some sort of Minerva that's gonna be a store exclusive (Target?)

My expectation if they ever did a 5 pack would be Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Banshee, and Wolverine. I want a proper Cockrum Wolverine, so that would be the best way to do him without wasting another slot in a wave. On the other hand, I'd also love it if we got Thunderbird in that set, but I just don't see that happening. I think we have a better chance of seeing Warpath packaged with an alternate Thunderbird head than getting a Thunderbird figure.

I think Cyclops and Wolverine are going to be anchors in the vintage wave...granted that's entirely speculative. My hope is STORM,THUNDERBIRD,COLOSSUS,BANSHEE & NIGHTCRAWLER

Nah. If Hasbro was going to do that, they wouldn't have released him with Dark Phoenix.

If they’re going to release a Giant Size X-Men set, the packaging should be cool like the MU 3.75” set. It should have all 6 figures: Nightcrawler, Warbird, Storm, Cyclops, Colossus, and Wolverine. Cyclops can have different paint apps and come with accessories and Wolverine can be painted lighter yellow, have a different version of his masked head, and a regular belt instead of the X belt.

I would trade Cyclops for a new Banshee

I've been seeing news today that the Avengers 4 title is apparently confirmed as Avengers: Annihilation, which has been rumored for a while now. Also, the trailer is set to drop at the end of November. I read it over on Comic Book Resources.

That is awesome news! 2019 is truly the year of a lot of wrap ups. MCU will continue on but the big storyline they have been building to will be wrapped up. XCU from fox except maybe the next Deadpool will be wrapped up. Star Wars, at least the current storyline, will be wrapped up. GoT wrapped up. BBT wrapped up. Probably other stuff I don't know about, too. A year of endings for sure.

Sorry for the off topic it's just amazing to me how much stuff is concluding in 2019. Thank goodness Marvel Legends won't be among that!! Marvel Legends Forevah!!!
