The only thing better would have been for it not to have been the two-packs.

Late night shopping I see. I do that very often lol.

I find that it's easier to look at the pallets just after midnight when they go out than try to get there early in the morning to check the pegs.

This box still only had the Power Man/Iron Fist wave as the newest in there. I was surprised that a Wolverine/Silver Samurai was included, since that one isn't selling anywhere, as far as I can tell...

Plus, this is what the shelves look like at the two most convienent Walmarts for me:

So I'm counting the days until the single guys come in.

They got or saw the Cable figures and were all like "What the hell is all this baby shit?" Hasbro responded by removing it in a running change. Why waste the extra plastic on ignorant ingrates?

Non comic reading jerk here, if I'd known you all wanted the Hope piece I wouldn't have written all those letters to Hasbro. Sorry!

In answer to your question, I collect Marvel figures because I loved the X-men and Spider-Man cartoons as a kid.

Don't get to excited. The ones that stayed empty for a long time for me is the ones that stop carrying them all together :(

Zictor 10-11-2011 07:21 AM

Every morning on the way to work I stop at this same wal-mart. It's rare they have an MU box amongst their large stack of hasbro boxes each morning, but when they do, the lady knows me by now and offers to open it every time. It's only been something I needed one time.. but this morning there was an Iron Man sealed box and I left.. I'm kind of wishing I'd have asked her to open it to look with all these last wave figures now surfacing. Guess we'll see tomorrow morning!

Jason Abbadon 10-11-2011 08:11 AM

If you score a Comic Iron Monger, I'll gladly buy it from you.
Or Ultimate Iron Man.

Yeah, it's pretty weird how the newest waves seem to be hitting stores so late.

D00MTR0N 10-11-2011 08:22 AM

walmarts here stock MU about once every 2 months,no lie.

Out of the twenty Walmarts by me, one of them is one of those giant "Super Walmarts" and they use half of their outdoor section as toy dept stock storage. There are cases and cases of Hasbro and Mattel marked boxes that have been sitting there for almost a year (I sneak in there and look around until they ask me what I'm doing sometimes)... so I can see how this might happen if that's how they go about storing their stock. It's a complete mess, and explains why one day they'll have two Sentry comic packs and then the next day their pegs will be overflowing with more of last year's unwanted stuff.

D00MTR0N 10-11-2011 08:39 AM

If I remember correctly while at walmart yesterday I saw 4 or 5 sentry cp's and 7 ironman figures of different armors ranging from ultimate im to bleeding edge im on the pegs,I bet any money there is a case of wave 15 in back, same with joes,3 arctic destros and a storm shadow and 3 empty pegs, really walmart?really?

Fortune 10-11-2011 10:00 AM

You know guys I have had very very good luck with having employees at TRU checking in the back for me. TRU employees have been very helpful :) Target emplyees......forget them

About 4-6 weeks before the film premieres, I believe. We should have some NYCC reveals this weekend.

ML gladiator would be wicked! but damn them if they make him a BAF because that means he will very very expensive to buy and still expensive if you have to buy all the other ones in that wave. its not as if hes an over sized figure like ares of blob is it.

lets hope he just gets a normal release! in his black suit as a variant too!
