Adam Warlock?

Both haired heads come from the last Adam Warlock figure. The evil one is a Magus repaint, which represents the "sick" version of Warren from when he first became a horseman and was unmasked. The other head is a repaint of the Adam Warlock head. I was debating buying 2 so I could have a death mask one and a non sick, hair out version, but I just got 1. I have the old one too. How many do I really need, you know?

Honestly, I haven't taken off the normal unmasked head since I bought him. I mean, I love the whole costume, but I'm so used to him having the cowl down and being a bit more 'casual'.

Which is why I hope to see a 'metal wings, blue skin, blue-and-white costume' version someday, maybe with a different wing pack to have the 'classic' retracted-wing look to him, or even a set of feathered wings (as long as the regular Archangel wing pack can still be swapped onto him). I was reading a lot of the comics during that period, so it's how I best remember him.

Anyone need the unmasked heads for Archangel? I'm not changing the one that came with the figure.

Just got a call from Gamestop. My Spiderman figure is in! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it over there till Sunday.

Did Archangel even not wear his mask while in the costume outside of like 2 scenes?

I remember him with the hood off on many occasions. I had a small run of Uncanny X-Men from the early 90's where he constantly had it off. Toy Biz's 2nd Archangel even had the hood off.

But the best news was the arrival of my anniversary gift to my wife, the Mafex Gwenpool! I'll do a further review/comparison later, but for now, here's a shot of her and her ML counterpart.

Basically, Mafex is Gwen in her own book, while ML is when she guest-stars in any other book with a different artist :D

Am I the only one X-cited about the new Skullbuster figure? I have not seen much chatter on him but he starts a new team for us which will hopefully grow to include Pierce, Deathstrike and the tank dude (his name escapes me) I say any x-VILLAN is a good one. I'm also wanting them to finish the Brotherhood with Avalanche, Pyro and Destiny (yeah I know...she's pushing it) I'm assuming toad is coming soon since we saw that picture of the Brotherhood displayed.

I can't say I'm excited for him, but I'm happy to have him in the hopes that we get more Reavers.

I'm not really excited for him, but you're right, any X-villain is a plus. Mostly looking forward to Blink, Gambit, Jubilee, Beast and Forge, probably in that order. Despite earlier declarations several months ago this turned out to be a pretty decent wave. I'd originally hoped for 2 of three of Nightcrawler, Beast and Gambit, and while it didin't look like that was going to be the case after the Canadian show, and Wendigo was going to be the BAF, they turned it around with all of that being a separate wave (other than Weapon X being in this wave). And yeah the Reavers are a great team to start building but I wish they'd have started with Peirce or Deathstrike of course.

And I'm really hoping for 2020 being another great X-year. There's no way we're not seeing Jim Lee Storm, Nightcrawler and Sinister (if not before then.) I'm also leaning towards guessing we'll see Pyro and Avalanche too.

And that doesn't even include all of the other X-product coming out like Professor X, the rumored X-centric Vintage wave, X-Force, and whatever that Wendigo wave is (if it's not X-force). I'm really also hoping that 2019's SDCC exclusive will be X-centric: c'mon Alpha Flight, Hellfire Club, or New Mutants!!!

I would love to see a Hellfire goon two pack as well as more of the Hellfire club. I also think some Mauraders would be cool like Harpoon, Grey Crow and Archlight.

Are Hit Monkey and the New Archangel the same buck?

There are a lot of cool X-villains still waiting on some Legends love. Silver Samurai (either version), Nimrod, Sebastian Shaw, Donald Pierce, any of the various Horsemen of Apocalypse other than Archangel and Hulk, Mimic, the Mutant Liberation Front, Destiny, Mastermind, Exodus, the Marauders.

Hell, we could even use a new Lady Deathstrike!

After reading the Extermination series (or 4 of the 5 issues anyways) I'm reminded that I want an Ahab figure. Also Black Tom Cassidy. He's not in it, but he's another character I forget about all the time when thinking of things I want to see made, so I'm going to put that down right here.

And we could definitely use a new Lady Deathstrike. Toy Biz's was Fugly even for them, 11 years ago.
