I hated reading as a kid. Comics where how I started reading. My first comics were Iron Man and X-Men.
I went to the tattoo parlor today after work and got this. This quote always meant a lot to me. I used it on every college essay I ever wrote. I felt it was a good tribute to Stan. |

People are awful, though. Hopefully enough people who want one will be able to track down a Stan Lee figure if and when Hasbro releases it. |

Edit: Brownfinger's post wasn't up when I started typing :o |
Ahhh thats what i figured. All i knew I remember like Sabah nerd. That slave leia was everywhere even just multiples of just her them all of a sudden they were gone and askin prices on ebay were like $60-$80 each I remember thinking what the fuck did i miss.
@brownfinger i know exactly man. People take advantage of shit like that. Just to make a dollar. Ya outta see if you don't know about them but Stan lee pops have started to sky rocket because of his passing. People can be assholes sometimes haha |
So whats everyone using the Ultron head that comes with vintage wave 2 Vision? Is it big enough to put on the AOU Baf? I haven't gotten mine yet and wanted to ask and see the consensus.

Wanna see something gross...go look at what Greedo goes for now that the bounty hunters are all pretty much made and done. TRU was practically giving them away at one point, now I'm kicking myself in the air for having not taken advantage of it.

Say WUUUUUT? Greedo? Really? I only have one because I wanted everyone in the wave but him, so he just sort of tagged along because I ordered the wave as a matter of convenience. Weird. He's just been kind of drunkenly waving from my shelf, I forget he exists all the time. A fifteen second "hi and die" appearance with his own post-retail demand, yet they'll never introduce a beloved droid who starred in three Star Wars video games (and has appeared in several others) to the line. I don't understand this planet. Quote:

I remember a time just a few years ago when Greedo was the shorthand for a figure that was pegwarming so hard you could probably build a cruise ship out of all the unsold copies.
How quick the worm turns. |

Plus, whenever Hasbro rereleases a fig or a repaint of the same figure the original fig tanks in price too. And even if the scalper is stubborn and doesn't lower the price... nobody is gonna buy it regardless. Those archive SW black series figure rereleases hit my LCS pretty hard... once those were announced my LCS put out all his MIB black series figs on the shelf for purchase and nobody has both them because they want the ones with the better face sculpts.
That TRU exclusive wave with the Jubilee BAF pretty much no one wants anymore either... same with the hitmonkey Archangel or the SDCC X-force Legends set... people will just wait for the rerelease now I think. TRU going down and Gamestop getting in the Legends game made it harder for Scalpers IMO. |
When the Defenders box set first got announced I joked that the jerks trying to sell the SDCC exclusive Luke Cage for over a hundred dollars on Ebay were probably crapping their pants.

And the second part of my post had a shout out to Brownfinger for the excellent Stan tribute using Silver Surfer. And he actually used something he created. The umbrage. |
