To those who have both the new gamestop archangel and have the hit monkey wave one. Which do you prefer?

Ordered, thanks for posting!! Ironically enough, I spent an embarrassingly large part of my day looking for this figure in-store with absolutely no luck. Glad to finally sit back and call quits on this particular hunt.

I worked at Gamestop for Xmas of 2005 and then I worked at Best Buy form 2006-2011, but I was given the boot (kind of) right after I hit my fifth year there, so I was lucky enough to not have to work on Thanksgiving day.

Nevertheless, until about 2015, I really really hated this entire season. I've eased up now, but it seems like shit happens with my family this time of year every year now. In 2014 my aunt died this very day. In 2016 my mom said she never wanted to speak to me again when we called them up on Thanksgiving. Last year my girlfriend got laid off from her job on Nov 7th. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd my cousin died last week.

Gamestop version. The paint better matches the rest of the figures in the team. The HitMonkey one is metallic and looks odd- I didn't think anything of it originally, but after getting the new version it just looks weird to me now.

I prefer the GameStop version.

The metallic colors on the old one are inconsistent throughout the figure. The colors have better contrast on the newer one I feel.

There's the metallic wings, all of the alternate heads...and I'm just now noticing that the old one (or at least mine) has some weird highlights on the face that make him look like a grumpy old man.

Splendid, Boss, just splendid. Can not wait to see how the new "Beast" will look. Seen the recent pics of him, not total sold as of yet, but the ToyBiz "Beast" is still a legend in my book, no pun intended..:)

Note. 1. Wolverine w/motorcycle is 20% of on Hasbro's site.

2. Black Panther Wave 2, C'mon, really, three Black Panther's in one wave, Hasbro creative team at it best:(...Easy pass.

3. I think we need a vehicle wave...Big Pun's Van, Cap's Cycle, Iron-Man Quin-jet, Shield's flying car, and Milano or BlackJet...C'Mon Hasbro, we have not rides to but the ML's 6 inch figures in...I know I'm dream, but they could make use of all the plastic that is out there from the GwenPool Waves at most local Walmart down here. Ha!

I think a Fantasticar with a translucent Invisible Woman would be good. Maybe include a Franklin as well?

Thanks for the replies fellas! I appreciate it. My comic shop has a loose hit monkey wave archangel for pretty cheap but i already have the gamestop one so thats why i asked if it was worth pickin up.

I love the metallic look of the hit monkey version and IMO that paint looks more in line with how I picture the character.

I prefer the hands from the Gamestop one as I always felt the Hit Monkey version has Mummy hands, they have some weird texture and they look like they have wrappings on them.

Gamestop Metallic wings look better than the Hit monkey version.

My overall favorite is the Hit Monkey version, but only by a slim margin, if they were the same price I choose Hit Monkey, that being said I would not pay extra for him as the Gamestop figure is a very well done representation of him.

Sadly Hasbro doesn't seem to like doing 6" Marvel vehicles unless they're something blatantly toyetic for a movie like like the weird cars they keep giving Spider-Man.

I was thinking more along the lines of the flying bathtub version, not the more......vehicle looking one.
