Cool. That's a good idea on how to get some of these peg-warmers under control.

Yep. It's crazy how important the case breakdown is with these things, yet Hasbro never gets it right. 2 Iron Man per case...3 Wolverines with no BAF pieces... the people that make these decisions should get pink slips at the mere suggestion.

As for Nova- it's strange- we all thought he would be the biggest seller in the wave, but I've seen quite a few of him on the pegs. He doesn't stand up to that Rocket power.

En Sabah Nerd 09-10-2014 03:28 PM

I'm really glad Nova wasn't too hard to find as he was the figure I wanted most. I attribute his availability to the fact he's not actually in the movie, so only character fans like myself or people who want to build all of Groot would pick him up.

I think it will be corrected starting with the Odin series. 7 figures in the series, no swaps, and an extra Thor in every case. I imagine Thor and Machine Man will be the two you see everywhere you go, but shelfwarmers are inevitable.

Hello, to all. Just like some of you, I have had to get recent waves for the internet. Here are some of my last purchases from Ebay, Amazon, and other sites for about year. Here is a short list from the recent ML Waves; (1) Cyclops, (2) Puck (Because I could not even find the figures at retail!), (3) Mandroid (Same reason I got Puck!), (4) Aim and (5) Hydra Soldier (Got both of them this week, I gave up on finding them in the wild!), (6) Black Panther, (7) Jean Grey and (8) Wrecker. So, It look like, every figure, at least where I live, is becoming a chase figure. Good luck in the retail stores, folk!

I been waiting see him so I can use my coupon

I never seen aim or hydra soldier in person

I'm debating making the jump to legends completely. I think I can sell off most of my MU and not really lose out if anything.

But some of the key figures I want are so expensive or rare

I sold off all my Marvel Universe stuff about a year and a half ago. I still have money from that sale, and I buy Marvel legends and Transformers. If you are going to part, you can afford to go all in on legends.

I was always a ML collector until they stopped making them. Then started collecting MU, but when ML came back I sold off all MU and started collecting legends again, well worth it.

I love my selection of MU but just don't want to make attempt and end up not liking it. For example figures like rogue, archangel, apocalypse, panther, and etc are very high dollar

The Wolverine Legends (Puck) series never hit mass retail. It was an exclusive to online and specialty stores. So if you didn't buy Emma Frost the day she was released in comic shops, the only way you're building Puck is by buying an entire case online. Thus they quickly sold out of cases online except for the one place you can still buy a case-- BBTS.

I still collect MU along with ML. Hasbro makes it easy to buy both because whenever they put their effort into one line the other starts lacking and vice versa.

The only ones I saw were Cyke, Wolvie and Stryfe, but they're pretty much gone now. I'm just glad my friend was able to pick up Mags and Storm for me.

You should just get him here Marvel X-Men Legends Stryfe Figure - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us then do a return adjustment using your coupon.

Same here as well. The legends are pretty cool even though I prefer the smaller size ones.

What makes the Deadpool worth so much from Series 6. The fact that the figure is popular combined with the how hard that series was to find? I just assume they were hard to find, I didn't collect them back then. But I do know they sold well and I never saw them in the stores. The Brown Wolvie, Juggs and Phoenix seem to be pretty easy to find but Cable and Deadpool are not. Maybe they were packed 1 per case and the rare figures from that series?

Captain Nash 09-11-2014 02:58 PM

Ugh. I couldn't stand to see that Storm figure on my Amazon wishlist any longer. I broke down and got it for just under $40 before shipping.

Not the most I've ever paid for a ML figure (Juggernaut was my most expensive single figure purchase ever at $90 and I STILL say well worth it) but it's certainly up there.

xMostWanted559x 09-11-2014 03:09 PM

So far dDeadpool, juggernaut, rogue, panther, archangel, apocalypse is most expensive

marvelmando 09-11-2014 03:39 PM

Don't forget Puck, Emma, X-force Psylocke, and Warpath.

It will be well worth the cost if you want her and Jubilee. If this ends up being anything close to Emma Frost your getting a great deal now.

Archangel isn't that bad, you can get him for 40 under which is somewhat worth it. His bad ass wing span!

xMostWanted559x 09-11-2014 04:05 PM

I picked up the 5 pack x-men classics legend today. They look good as a team

jmurray90720 09-11-2014 04:22 PM

Added Magneto, Mystique, Hope, Spider Girl and Jubilee's left arm to the collection this week.

Still waiting on Daken, Cyclops and Black Cat from Amazon. Then I might be done for a while. I've amassed a pretty ridiculous amount of figures in a very short time.
