Because I've been told there is another cliffhanger scene for DDS2.

Doctor of Dental Surgery 2?

There's no cliffhanger. Sequel hooks, sure, but any story that might continue has always had those, and always will. It's how storytelling rolls in this world.

Season 3 was incredibly solid, told an actual start-to-finish story, introduced a long-time desired character, and didn't have the "we have to draw this out for more episodes" problem every other Netflix show has faced.

Besides, anyone who thought that ANY of the Netflix Marvel shows would keep going ad infinitum is a damn fool.

Season 3 concludes and ties up the trilogy (if you look at the 3 seasons as a trilogy) pretty decisively . There's an end scene with a certain character that works as basically a "_____ will return" proclamation like they do at the end of some movies but that's it.

This is some of the goofiest logic I've ever heard.
This may have been the best season of ANY of the Netflix|MCU shows.
But i hear you ..DON'T watch it.

I dunno man. It seems that nutflux is canceling a lotta its shows after one season or so. And with st ending at season 5 i dont see a lotta. High profile “ i gotta watch these “ type of shows. Maybe there might be some i dunno. I dont really use pay tv anymore. If i cant watch it over the air its not worth watching to me. Thats just me though.

Boy Blunder 11-30-2018 11:27 AM

Eh, if anything, Netflix will be one of the only survivors of this new wave of streaming services. They're still getting a LOT of exclusive series, and by being first in the game, they have a larger install base of customers, they're doing a ton of original content for children and families (which, combined with the existing customer base, means that those shows reach more families than ones being prepped for Disney/Warner Brothers/etc)... Even if Disney makes it through as well (the most likely of the new streaming options), anything on Hulu that isn't covered by their Fox buyout will likely option to move to Netflix, in the event that Disney decides running Hulu and Disney+ isn't a viable model.

But all the rest that are cropping up, I don't see them lasting very long. Especially the DC one - sure, there's a large fanbase who wants to see DC content, but I doubt it'll be enough for Warner to continue supporting it after a year or two.

But then, you still watch Supernatural, Nite, so I can't take your tastes into account :p

The DD cancellation is very problematic. These are signs the bubble will burst soon.

Most likely all hero content will go to the streaming service, as Disney will look to build that up. With what I seen from Ant-Man 2 or Wasp 1 or whatever that was, it's very troubling seeing that bad performances of these shows and the cancellations.

Toy wise, it did seem like those Netflix figures did not really move. I wonder if that's why Hasbro shoved all those figures into the SDCC boxset, rather than release then independently?

Its just like the sopranos man.....ive been watching since season 1 so i gotta stay in to see how it ends. Very few shows have enjoyable endings to the series.

My man! Yea I gotta agree with this. I’ve been watching since S1 too and Supernatural is incredible. The Cast especially dean are awesome.
I think you and I are the only two people still watching it tho haha

Supernatural ended in Season 5, that's the problem.

Since then it's just been a money-making zombie. I mean, I'm glad that Jared and Jensen have fun making it, I really am, but pretty much everything since S6 started was just... unnecessary and varying degrees of 'eh, it's okay' to 'why'.

(Though I did like 'Soulless Sam' during Season 6, great comedic moments there)

I hope we get legends/new multiverse styled figs of dean, sam, jo, bobby, ketch, mary and baby.

jwyss234 11-30-2018 12:39 PM

The cancelation of the Marvel Netflix shows doesn't mean that a bubble is about to burst for all superhero related media. If anything, Netflix has been given an approximate end date for their access to Disney owned content and decided to cancel the shows rather than rush through production to make another season for any of them.

Dude I’d kill for that! I almost forgot about Jo. Don’t forget Ash haha I’d buy him! But my must haves are Dean ,Sam ,Cas, Bobby, Crowley, Ruby, and Of course Baby. But I don’t think Hasbro would make them I wish but if anyone does it’s gonna be Neca and I’m ok with that

Oh....amd agree. ;)

I couldn't allow Supernatural to be besmirched and dismissed offhand. What other show features such a wide variety of mythological entities? From Djinn to revanants, to angels and demons pulled directly from biblical text, there isn't another vechicle that offers a comparable cornucopia of mystical monsters. For those of us that are into the unseen, there isn't much that can touch the show.

...plus, they called you old. I don't do the ageism ;)

I was joking about the ageist stuff. If it makes you feel any better, I'm getting up there also. Lean into it, it's a source of strength. None of us can outrun time and only the foolish believe otherwise.

Damnit, I didn't even realize this was going up for preorder.

Hopefully I can cop Kingpin loose down the line, because I'm really not trying to buy this wave in full.

Agreed. I'm usually pretty happy with about half the wave when it comes to Spidey-themed waves, but this one just doesn't do much for me. Silver Sable is a definite buy... the rest range from 'zero interest' to 'maybe for the right discount price'. But I gotta have that Fisk.

I blame the BAF choice, but they kinda sold initially... they just had too much of the Netflix wave IMO... it was everywhere. Also... Netflix DD is still the best ML Daredevil IMO and the Bullseye is pretty good too.
