The Captain Marvel Wave is a complete and utter flop, and it could have been saved IMO by a Classic Ms. Marvel with an alternate Moonstone head in the place of the jacketed Carol, a comic Skrull in the place of Grey Gargoyle and a Classic Mar-Vell instead of Genis-Vell.

They REALLY need to stop mixing MCU and comic series together, especially like this where the majority of the figures are MCU and the BAF is comic based. The Black Panther Wave 2 and completely segregated 2019 Avengers waves are a definite step in the right direction that I hope continues.

Interesting. I do like that they're expanding the movie line but can't say I'm happy that it's another Carol Danvers. Awww, who am I kidding? I'm probably still going to buy these if they're available in the States.

No info yet. Someone in Taiwan has this in hand I believe. But there's always tiny leaks to create buzz, so probably from someone at Hasbro in Asia.

I was looking at that comic-based Avengers wave for 2019 and it seems...odd. Not in a bad way, as I'm quite happy with the characters revealed for it so far. But the thing I'm just now noticing is that there doesn't seem to be a real A-list hero in there. Usually, they'd toss in a big name to beef up the wave a bit to make it more attractive to retailers. But there's nobody like that here.

I mean, Loki is obviously a popular character, but he's a villain, and Hasbro tends to not rely on villains to be their wave anchors. It makes me think something big is planned for the BAF, and I can't imagine who else it'd be besides The Hulk. Pure speculation on my part, most likely wrong, but it would certainly make sense.

Now this is some serious stuff. I'm all for the two Carol's we're getting in the Captain Marvel wave, but these are the two I was expecting. Wonder if and what kind of exclusives they are.

Same! They're instantaneous buys! Knowing Hasbro they're probably exclusive to Walgreens, Gamestop, or Walmart thatd be my guess.

Hasbro is making it really hard for me to know how I want to display my figures. I thought I had a shelf just for Black Panther, Ant-Man & The Wasp, and Captain Marvel, but it looks like I might get a Starforce Team which might make it too crowded. I'll see what I can come up with, I'm not complaining at all.

Maybe they still have a new Thor or classic Iron Man to toss in.

The Captain Marvel reveal is weird. Rektangular called a while back we'd be getting a green Captain Marvel with a Doctor Minn-Erva head, and he's been really accurate thus far. However, the only thing he was wrong on was the classic Ms. Marvel that he claimed we'd be getting, unless that's gonna be an exclusive too.

So the green carol and fire hair carol are exclusives? To where?

So oddball question regarding potential Walgreens future releases - the Fantastic Four theme had how many figures in it? 5 at least if you count only the main four and Silver Surfer, maybe more with Medusa and Namor?

I'm wondering how many X-Men figures we'll get and if it will be similar. Going by rumors it looks like they'll all be females too, which honestly makes sense. There is not another comic series that has such a high ratio of higher profile females. The Avengers have 5-6 and so does DC as a whole I think, the X-Men have at least a dozen.

What this leads to me wonder: after Magik, Mystique, Emma and the rumored Moonstar, you know what would be perfect and sell like hotcakes? A First Appearance Storm. You know almost all of us would buy that.

I'd prefer to see FA Storm in a set featuring the rest of the Giant Sized X-Men, but that's not a bad idea.

I'd prefer to see a first appearance or an Outback version of Rogue myself. They did one for the Marvel Universe line, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't upsize her for Legends at some point.

So long as they fixed her hair, I agree, I'd be up for that as well.
